Great product

Altogether I think this is a great unit. The fact that i can hook up additional screens is a miracle maker for long trips with the kids. The navagation is good and the dvd function is just awesome. It was very easy to install and it works great.

Jensen VM9022 HDN

Overall, it's a very good product. To improve it I would suggest better visibility in daylight and glare situations as well as more control of the colors on the image. The HD function, radio, DVD and the remote work fantastic! I love the DVD video quality of the screen while watching a movie. The GPS works ok, but the prompts for upcoming turns etc are slow. You are told to turn almost exactly at the intersection or place you have input as the destination, The

Great Value!!

I am very pleased at the offerings this system has for the price. I installed the unit myself and in a matter of hours, was enjoying all it has to offer! I love everything from the picture quality to the impressive sound! The navigation really put it over the top. You'll be very happy with this unit as I am!

Great Unit for the price, I replaced my OEM radio in my Toyota 2003 4Runner with this unit and have been very pleased. The radio itself is an upgrade over the standard radio for sound quality and when you add the GPS and HD radio feature it quickly justified the price. The SD card reader locks up ever now and then but is much better than using an ipod. The only thing this radio doesn't have is the ability to change the background color to better match up with the rest of the dash. Other than that I have no gripes with it. I highly recommend it.

Nice Product. Best buy for the price

I've had this for a few months now and really like the system. Initially, the GPS software was outdated from Gate5, which Audiovox stopped using about a year ago. After talking with the Audiovox VP for customer service, they refunded the $90 I spent on buy the current Horizon Navmate s/w.
Sonic customer service was GREAT in offering to fully refund my money if Audiovox didn't come through. (CUDOs to you!!!!)

So, the system. Bluetooth is great, although I notice it's output volume is a little low. The unit does allow for individually adjusting the volumes for each of the subsystems (SAT, DVD, IPOD, USB, BT, Radio, HD, etc.) NICE feature.
DVD playing is great. I've been watching The Last Waltz by The Band... very nice!
Backup camera feature is perfect as well. However, if the unit is set to auto dim, the backup view is very hard to see. So, at night I have to cancel the auto dim in order to clearly see the backup camera.
Audio out quality is very good... nice coverage across the spectrum. Often I only play it at 30-40 % of max volume. External IPOD, USB port works great. Only drawback is you don't get full menu control from the unit... need to still use the IPOD for detailed menus. This is mostly just an inconvenience.
Memory features are good. Plenty of memory slots for the AM/FM/HD radio. Also 18 memory slots for SAT channels.
SAT XM is good; however, would like to see scrolling capability rather than the song/artist section being limited to 20 some characters.
Screen human factors is generally good, some of the scroll bars are kinda small for my fingers.
GPS - it is possible to run other GPS software on the system with one drawback... the gps audio instructions don't work. (this is REALLY being picky)

Overall, I really like the system for the price. Other systems with all that this unit has cost about $300-600 MORE, depending on brand. If you really need GPS audio, then the only drawback I would focus on is that the Horizon Navmate software is OK... not the greatest, but definately not the worst. The rest of the unit you'll be VERY pleased with. Overall 4.5

Jensen VM9022HDN

i have just received this unit, thus far it is great deal for the money. it is as described am/fm radio can be analog/digital or both which is how i have it set. it sounds great with my stock speakers better than stock radio, HD makes huge difference. Nav. works well not top of the line but so far accurate it does use live navigation the memory card is only for maps to be loaded.the USB port is awesome i dont need cds anymore. dvd play back is nice wired on little screen but plays very nice with great sound again with stock speakers. these are only features i am using at this time. i connected to blue tooth but my phone is old and one of first BT phones before it became popular and cant get it to work other than connected. the face comes straight out at bottom so very little clearance is needed for mounting. i have installed it in a 04 ford superduty it does fit if you remove for lack of a better word the nubs behind stock radio face. was surprised that as long as this unit has been out i found only 2 reviews. i will update as i get to know unit better and use more features. over all for the price you cant go wrong.
