Don't knock it til you try it

This is an excellent radio that has all the bells and whistles of more expensive radios out there. At first I though it was broken because I didn't figure that it was in demo mode. Had to read the manual to figure out how to get it out of demo mode. Replaced my factory Bose radio that pretty much outdated(who listens to cassettes). This radio make the Bose system sound like it should. Nice clean high,mids and booming bass because I listen to hip hop music. I also wanted Bluetooth connection for having hands free calling and streaming music off my phone. You can also expand and add a navigation system to it but no need for that, I use my navigation on my phone. I also use my SD card to play music. I played a movie and the screen is nice and clear. I will add 2 more tv screens later. Added a subwoofer system to give me that boom that I crave for. Can control the bass with it's build in subwoofer control for those early morning when I don't want to hear it. It also has the ability for a backup camera and steering wheel controls. This is an excellent value that sounds good without the big price.

way worth it!

i installed this stereo in my 02 accord ex and it sounds and looks great! dvd player works excellent and the bluetooth is amazing! the bluetooth pared with my iPhone quick and easy and the mic works great. stereo was easy to install no real trouble with this device at all. it didn't take long to load all my files on my iPod or iPhone. for the price it has been way worth it! it also come with all the outlets and plug-in need and wasted in a stereo without the way out price. the one thing i can that i didn't like was the universal steering wheel controller adapter. my car come with steering wheel remote stock and to keep it with this device wasn't as easy as i thought it would be. i ended up losing the steering wheel controller. but it was nothing fret about, the device came with a remote! excellent buy!

Defective after 10 minutes of use, otherwise great radio for the price

Being the installer and user of a VM9225BT in a friends previous car, he ordered this newer one because the older Jensen was a good radio. Upon installing this newer model in his '06 civic, the radio worked great for a good 10 minutes and started having issues. The screen gave a wacky image and the radio became unresponsive. It comes back to life after letting it sit for a while, but the problem still persists. Manufacturers defect could be the reason.

As for features, this radio has excellent features for the price. Will definitely exchange it if it gives the same performance as its older brother.

We purchased the Head Unit for our dughters car..it was a fairly easy install..so we decided to purchase the back up camera that was recommended its a nice novelty item to add...we all love the stereo! Mu husband installed and had a wiring question customer service was informed and helpful..we would recommend this unit to others! The shipping was fast and the price excellent overall so far we are very happy with the purchase

Excellent Value

Installed this head unit with a rear view camera and hands free microphone in about 2 hours. I like it so much I am ordering one for my wife's Tahoe.
