Note- The License Place cam was tempting till you get a ticket for obscuring the dates or tax info. License Plate cams must be trimmed to screws. Get a Dremel! and add time + black paint for those.

This radio may not have the best sound quality and may benefit greatly from an amplifier and new speakers but being an old guy with ringing ears, it isn't that important to me. The features on this radio are excellent and everything worked the first time I set it up. Working up the harness was the most difficult part and even that was well explained and tagged. If you can solder and use heat shrink you can do a professional job. Just don't be an idiot and use crimp connectors and ScotchLocks.

Looks great and sounds great.

After a couple of calls to Sonic, I had everything I needed for a perfect install. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable. Shipping was free and timely. The Jensen unit has a lot of nice features for the price including remote control. Sounds great and has an equalizer to adjust to your own tastes. I love the touch screen option and easy to navigate. Oh, did I mention that it also plays DVD's? This unit is a steal! The downside is the screen is a little hard to see in bright conditions and I can't get the song information to appear on the screen. It either isn't set up to display this information or, I don't know how to use this function. I'm going to call Sonic to see if this is an option.

Excellent at a great price with a caveat.

The stereo works great and has lots of features normally found on far more expensive units.However the included free backup camera is a little on the chintzy side. After installing the camera and running the wire to the rear of my car, I inserted the RCA jack into the proper port in the back of the stereo. Then when I put my car in reverse, I had an error message that there was no signal from the camera, imagine my surprise when I removed the RCA jack from the rear of the stereo and found the center metal pin of the jack had come of in the stereo port. Granted it was free, but I expected a better quality.
