great stereo

i was skeptical about ordering a jensen product only because i know that it is not the top of the line but i was going from power acoustic to jensen, ive owned alpine in the past and know quality. However i am really impressed with this stereo, the navigation works flawlessly and the sound is better than expected.

The Jensen sounds great in my Tahoe easy to install but there should be a filter for the output and there is a lag and the FM side

Great looks and Great sound

Installation was straight forward in my vehicle (2007 Hyundai Tuscon). Looks very clean like the car came with it. Operation is pretty intuitive and features are everything I wanted. So far it works flawlessly and the sound is great.
Definitely recommend.

This is an amazing item for the price. Does everything it says it will do excellent sound quality the only thing is you have to print out the owners manual since it doesn't come with one

Great value

I really don't have any cons about this product. I have read other reviews from others who installed the head unit themselves and experienced some problems such as " the back up camera doesn't come on right away when put in reverse" and " navigation issues". I had mine professionally installed and I haven't had any issues with it.
I definitely recommend this product.

Awesome Jensen VX7022 Stereo plus navigation!!!!!

We love this stereo plus all the features!! We installed it into our are RV and it looks like it always belonged there, in other words it looks great!!!
It is real easy to set up too, bluetooth to your phone and the other features. The only thing I wish, is they put the Manuel in the box not just online, but that should not stop you from buying this stereo beacause the cost savings is great compared to others similar!!!

Great double DIN radio. I like all the features. All work perfect. Hardest part of install was creating the Toyota wiring harness to avoid cutting the factory wiring. Also, I had never installed a backup camera, but it was easy. I did my research and watched a few YouTube videos and the install went perfect. Price was just what I wanted to spend.

Questionable value in this unit.

This unit looked to be a great purchase after reading it's capabilities and seeing other customer optimistic reviews. However, in less than one year of occasional usage in my motorhome, I have encountered issues with it. The unit will no longer play any radio stations on either AM or FM bands. It simply scans through all of the radio frequencies and then stops on the lowest channel. Also, when attempting to play music from my I-phone through the I-pod connection, the unit races past several songs before playing a song, and then repeats that process. Sometimes, it just freezes after playing a song and I have unplug the phone and then plug it in again to continue playing music.

Great Value

The user interface has a good balance of ease of use, speed, and functionality. A lot of bargain head units either have buggy interfaces or are too slow to be safe when driving. This one is very efficient for the driver, keeping distractions down to a minimum. Best feature is the navigation. The interface beats most nav units and doesn't require any phone pairing to work. The radio interface could use some work; its not oriented to quickly tune manually, but it does offer a lot of programmable presets. There're other small things I could mention, but I can't complain too much given it all works and costs a fraction of what competitors may charge.

Excellent Double Din/ Entertainment system for Price

Everything works as advertised. The navigation is a plus and definitely easy to use, accurate routing and map updates, and a big surprise after reading some mixed reviews about the overall nav capabilities. There is no live traffic updates, but I knew that when I decided to purchase this unit. XM radio feature is a plus, however not intuitive when using presets. You have to go into sub menus in order to maneuver through your favorites. If there is a way to scan your favorite channels without going into sub menus, I have not found a way. Radio AM/FM is a minus, unless my antenna was disconnected as I was installing, I don't get many radio stations. Mirroring works fine and makes it worth while to purchase this product. Bluetooth is a plus after I relocated the mic closer to my voice projection. A plus for Bluetooth is streaming music using your phone. However, I have not figured out how to use the Pandora Ap despite reading the instructions, so this will be my next focus. iPod use is a plus and awesome, however I would have loved to have seen a rear USB adapter, to integrate factory USB. Wallpaper is cool, however I wished you can download more than one custom wallpaper and store.. currently you can only download one at a time and you can not save it, so if you want to change a custom wallpaper, you have to put in a micro SD card and upload the one you want to use, as it will not save the previous "custom". Rear camera works as advertised. Another surprise and overall, what I really wanted from an aftermarket system: an upgrade over factory stereo pushing your speakers. All my speakers sound crisper, cleaner and so much better than factory. And finally DVD movie is awesome, especially with a simple ground, wink wink. For the price, Jensen VX 7022 is a smart buy and provides value. If I wanted all the other bells and whistles I would have dropped another 500 dollars, so Jensen really does a good job with a decent product and a solid price.

Great Stereo System

Very pleased with this stereo. I added the backup camera and it works like a charm too. The touch screen function works great and the sound output is amazing. My 18 year old has it in his Explorer and he is thrilled. The only slightly negative thing I would say is that, as some others have pointed out, the glare off the screen makes it impossible to see at times.

Bargain of the year

This unit has all the features you could ask for. I replaced a pretty expensive Pioneer because the XM died. The Jensen sounds as good, has Nav, AM/FM, CD, DVD, even phone w/mic. Comes with installation accessories, Only problem.... antenna rises no matter what is playing!

2010 Rogue

Nice Radio... Had reception problems but found if you ground blue wire from antenna adapter to red wire on power found that stops the issues.... Only problem is back up camera issues it does not switch automatically... Factory says seems to be a internal problem on some of these radio's ... .not big deal mine worked for about 20 minutes then would not switch any more... not worth it to pull entire system out and reinistall my old radio while waiting to get another radio.

Terrible

Not sure if it's the brand itself or jus this specific radio but I doubt I will buy any Jensen products again. I bought this radio a while back and every time I start my car I have to calibrate it like no really every time sometimes buy the time I get the radio to cut on I'll already be at my destination. Then I try to get your company to do what's right since I bought it from sonicelectronix.com but haven't received anything. I let the issue be known soon after I found out and I just talk to a couple people on the phone telling me that they would follow up wit my claim n still to dis day same bs.

Big sad mistake

So many issues. First, the navigation is useless and could not be upgraded. The rep tried for about 1 hour. Next, it can find usually only 1 address on any given street. When listening to the radio or CD and the Navigation loses the signal even when not in use, it turns everything off and states that there is no navigation loudly. Messes up the experience. Next. When listening to a CD that isn't recorded very loud, and you turn the car off, when you restart it, it turns the radio on, and you are about to jump out of your skin because it is so loud. 3rd. If you play a DVD it sometimes freezes and you cannot change anything unless you turn the car off and restart it. 4th, the dimmer doesn't work no matter how wired. 5th, the AM is useless. Need I continue?
