Worked Great

This is the only product that works on the Chevrolet Corvette. After having to spend hours rewiring previous cars I decided to buy this Axxess piece. What a great product. Cut my install time by hours and it worked perfectly.

Great Product - Poor documentation

This is a great product and works very well. Basically plug-and-play for the Corvette. The installation instructions were minimal at best. The install ended up being easy, but I had to get additional information from on-line audio forums and Axxess customer service to figure where each wire matched to the new H/U.

Easy to use, works well

Replaced a Soundgate adapter with this when the Soundgate died after about 5 years. The bass from the Bose woofers seems to be improved, and the "Retained Accessory Power" feature (which the Soundgate didn't have) is nice.

works great easy to install. Wasn't sure what I was getting into as far as installation but it was just as simple as plugging it into the aftermarket harness

Good Product

I installed this product in my 2004 Corvette and works great.

the converter worked perfect

The Axxess XSVI-2004 worked perfectly in my 2004 corvette changed the stock stereo to an alpine and the converter worked perfectly with the bose system. The local stereo company tried to talk me in to changing my hole system over (1,000.00 )saying that there would be popping and static using the converter. THERE WASNT - IT WORKED PERFECT worked better than the stock stereo

XSVI-2004 - fixes anti-theft issue

Fixes anti-theft issue that disables the car!! Install took 45min 1 1/2 hr, overall easy to install after taking the bottom half of the steering components.

2002 Corvette

This product works great. I was able to connect a Kenwood system and still use the original speakers and subwoofer.

RED FOX

This was required to connect the Jensen 9414 radio to my Bose sound system. Easy to connect and works flawlessly.

Almost Perfect

Only a few small items. The antenna does not work properly with this unit as I assume the antenna is controlled by the data bus. With the Axxess, the antenna is up all the time the radio is on, even when you are listening to the CD which in the factory configuration, the antenna would be down. Also the for potentiometers are not easy to adjust unless you have the special tool made for that purpose. Small knobs would be better.

As some have mentioned the texture is not the same as the stock piece, but it seems durable. Fitment is very good as well

Good Value

Not original equipment, but item readily available and don't have to spend big bucks on a custom made item and wait 3 months or more to get it risking a substandard job.

Kenwood DDX6706S AWSOME!!!

This head unit has a lot of bells and whistles very please with the features that it has, more then i will use. I put it in a F 150 that i had installed Rockford Fosgate punch 6x8 and the 22 RMS watts this puts out made them come alive big time!! very pleased with this unit! Would give it 6 stars if it would let me. Only thing I would change is the volume control could be easier to use. But would recommend this for great sound quality with good speakers!

Works

I replaced a unit from a competitor that quit on me two weeks after install. It didn't work that great anyway. The adapter harness did not power the Bose subwoofers, and it sounded tinny.
The Axxess works as advertised. The subs now work like they are supposed to, and the whole system sounds better. (I also replaced the head unit).
Install was simple, with clear instructions.

2000 Corvette

Potentiometer is great and got a wonderful sound of my speakers I never had, what is not do great I lost the RAP in my car and had to connect it straight to the ignition. A lousy manual.

Love the now modern dash

I didn’t care for the 1 din opening in our C5. This is a vast improvement and I have now installed my 2 din of choice, love it! Fitment is good, matches factory lines where it meets. The finish is a little different from the stock dash but it doesn’t look bad. It looks fine butted up against the factory finish. It looks like Chevy couldn’t even planned it to look like it does. Even as a picky corvette owner, I’m very satisfied.

C5 Corvette Double Din upgrade

I'm finally upgrading to a modern double din audio system in my C5 Corvette. This product makes it much easier and esthetic then trying to hack up the original console. Excellent price from Sonic.

Looks and fits great in our 2000 corvette

I bought to install radio with backup camera in pur C5 Corvette. I am old and have not done much car work since I was a kid. This bezel fit well and my project went well. It is a gtreat update to our 2000 C5

More than I expected

I purchased this radio two weeks ago to replace my stock inop radio in my 2010 Dodge 1500. My old radio had a DVD front and rear. It also had GPS maps, satellite radio, Bluetooth, voice control, backup camera, with steering wheel controls. This Kenwood has all of these and more. As an old man and someone, not tech-savvy, I was able to operate this thing pretty quick.

Though it does not have GPS, it does have apple car play which connects to my phone with updated GPS maps. My dual DVD works flawlessly and all steering wheel controls still operate like factory. The backup camera has the ability to rearview while driving (which is great for towing). The unit also has screen gages for tach, speed, fuel, and temps, plus tire monitors. This is great in that I don’t have to scroll through the stock screen on the dash. (Plus my passenger can monitor on trips). There are so many more but, suffice it to say, I would recommend this unit for anyone. If I can operate it, then anyone can.
