Metra 70-7551

This product is great compared to the one where you have to keep adjusting, all this does is make in the installation a lot easier. Instead of connecting wires to each speaker, you just plug it in to your new head unit and the rest of the wires are pretty straight forward to connect. Love it and I am glad that someone came out with this product.

If you are going to change out the head unit in a Nissan Maxima with the Bose system, this is a must! You can keep the factory amps and save yourself many hours of heartache! Instructions are simple.

Not for aftermarket radio with 4 ohms

Tried this harness with a JVC KW-XR810 HU. Volume was to lower. Lowered the factory speakers by 50% The HU was 4 ohms and my factory was only 1 ohms. I used a PAC-ROEMNIS2 instead.
Installed on a 2002 Infinity I35

This product was definitely worth the price, I have no problems with the cords or engine noise. I would definitely use the brand again if I ever needed some RCA wires.

I used this harness for an 02 nissan maxima with bose. I did a complete amp bypass so i only used the wires like power and ground for the new head unit. But it fit the factory harness well and my job is done.

This harness was listed under infinity G35 with Bose but when the gentleman from Sonic crossed referenced it with my 350! It was an exact fit! Just what I need! So easy to wire! Took 5 minutes!

Simple direct hookup

Purchased for my 2002 Pathfinder with factory Bose amps. Simple install, quick, no mess. However, my head unit has standard lower voltage line levels, so max volume is fairly low to drive the amps. Would work better with a head unit with higher voltage preouts.

Didn't need, but looks like it would do the trick.

The car's original stereo had already been swapped, so the kit wasn't necessary, but am glad is was included, as I can see this product saving a tremendous amount of time and hassle.

Love the Metra products. Makes installing aftermarket head units much easier. Harness plugs right into auto .

Wiring harness

It looks like it is well made. I bought this thinking I was going to install a aftermarket radio, but I changed my mind. So I will not be using the harness after all. I'll keep it because if I'm not satisfied with the sound is will be installing a Alpine deck in place of the factory one.

So much better than any Scosche kit. On those kits, the plastic can bend and doesnt feel very tight in the stereo opening. I had to saw the tabs off this metra kit, the plastic was so strong so make sure you have a really sharp knife!

Don't know much about it

I have a 97 Nissan Pathfinder, with single CD (not the premium audio system), and I bought the Dual XDMR7700 CD Player. Amazingly, this CD player fits in WITHOUT this mounting set!! This kit still lies silently in the box, I don't know how well it works. But from how it looks, it has a lot of parts and supports a lot of types of cars. On the other hand, plastic looks kind of fragile

this was perfect for replacing the double-DIN Bose stereo in my 99.5 pathfinder with a normal-sized stereo - easy install, correct tab placement, and i love the little storage thingy that takes advantage of the extra space.

dont buy for a nissan 1995 - 1999 Sentra

doesnt fit 1995 - 1999 Sentra. very dissatisfied... not to cheap either. cost what it would at the store.
