2000 Durango Amp Bypass

These were perfect to use with the Scosche CR01B to bypass the stock Infinity amp in my Dodge Durango. Only had to shave a little plastic.

Perfect for my use

This product was perfect for my use with a 1998 Subaru Forester. The package was labeled with the wire colors and their functions. Much better than cutting wires

I really like these adapters. Only change I would make would be to caution people that the blue wire that is labeled power should be more clearly explained. By the explanation in the instructions, you would think the blue wire should not be hooked up unless you have a power antennae. But, the blue wire should be connected to the spare white wire or blue wire to provide power to antennae amplifier in some cars. I had to tear the stereo out after a complete install to correct this problem.

Works. Does exactly what it's supposed to. The bag it comes in have the wire diagram on it and it's basically plug and play. Just have to wire it to the head unit harness and boom. You have music.

Metra 98-8999 - Subaru Impreza WRX dash pocket

I bought this dash pocket about 6 months ago and love it. I bought it to go below my jvc headunit which I also purchased from sonic electronix. The two work great together. The fit is tight, not loose, the plastic is strong unlike other kits, and fits great. The pocket has slots for cds in there, however i use it to hold my ipod and wallet. Great product and recommend to all.

Metra 98-8999 Review

I like this dash kit tremendously. The install was fairly simple, the directions showed me everything I needed to do to install this dash kit in my vehicle. It took a little while for me to get everything all lined up correctly as this kit is designed for multiple applications, but that was all part of the fun of doing the installation myself. The one thing that I did notice is that once I inserted the Subaru trim plate onto the front of the pocket, one of the plastic tabs did break, causing the trim plate to not hold completely, but not a problem at all as I checked the area numerous times and it should hold correctly.

Awesome product. Had a little bit of an issue installing it but that was a mixture of human error and sub par instructions. All in all it worked well for my 96 Subaru Legacy GT and my head unit fits in nice and snug. Plus I have a little cubby hole now.
