Kenwood CMOS 210

Great camera, easy to install. Really wide angle view. Seems like a great product the resolution of the image is very clear and it works great at night with just the reverse lights. I would highly recommend it!

Great Camera

You can get back up cameras for a fraction of the cost of this one but this camera is worth every penny. The quality is great and you get decent pictures even at night. The picture quality is better than what I have seen in many luxury cars. Only drawback is it does not show the guiding lines when you back up but that its hardly needed.

Kenwood CMOS-210 satisfied customer

Pretty happy with my backup camera. Does not have backup lines and the camera lens creates a fish bowl view- very wide angle. After you get used to it the panoramic view is helpful to make sure there are no hazards but not so good with detailed information such as backing into a garage- it is hard to tell if you have clearance on the garage door sides. I purchased this particular camera to match my Kenwood DDX770 deck to stay with the same manufacture. No installation headaches, pretty straight forward. The manual also includes CMOS-310 options and I had my hopes up that there were settings available to adjust the view and add guidelines. Not so for the 210 model. To avoid messing with the factory wiring of my 2014 Kia Optima I ran a single wire to the rear of the car and carefully soldier it to the reverse light for the reverse gear sensor wire- no splicing or cutting of factory wires, just used the space on the crimped backup light connector.
Overall- Wide angle lens :(
Value- Great price
Look- Very big camera compared factory installed or others I have seen.
Durability- Construction seems very good and no parts to rust- camera box is metal.
Features- Ouch, no view settings, no backup lines, it is a COLOR image :)

CMOS-210 wired Camera

Purchased this from Sonic Electronix at a very competative price. Arrived in good time and once installed has worked perfectly for the last 6 months.
