Works great and easy installation

This camera was just as I expected a wonderful product. It has great picture and was super easy to install. I've just started using NVX audio but if their products continue to be this good then I will be using them for many more times.

I would have to say I have been become a pretty big fan of NVX in the last few years I have now bought many products from them and have really liked them all I've bought subwoofers, tweeters, 6.5 component, and 6.5 door speakers, 6.9 speakers, amp, and backup camera all have been every well packaged look amazing and I have to say with the 18 years I've been doing car audio they are very impressive I would recommend NVX to anyone. Does it job

The camera came with the alpine head unit I purchased. Instructions were not the best and provide very little guidance to installation however I was able to figure it out with the small amount of car audio knowledge I have. Picture quality is good, not sure if that's due to the camera, head unit, or a combination of both. Gets a tad bit grainy at night but still provides assistance when reversing. Installed on a 2001 extended-cab Silverado and barely had enough RCA cable to make it from the head unit to the camera

Love this absolutely

Love how small and maneuverable it is. Although,beware that a extension is needed if not owning something that has a trunk. Unlike something,say a Ford explorer would benefit from,most car users with a trunk will need an extension. Everything else is perfect.

Good beginner camera

Like the fact it was small. When you mount it the way you think makes sense it is upside down. Had to flip it and now cable is in the way. Little dark in resolution but ok in normal situations.

5v preouts, Great eq, overall feel and speed of unit is great.

Cons
The display off (blackout) feature could be better. It does shut off but backlight stays on so not 100% off. As someone who drives a lot at night this could be better.

Very Nice Head Unit

This unit offers a lot of control over your sound settings. The user interface is very intuitive, you don't need a degree to change the settings. The only thing I wish it had is a volume knob. I didn't realize how convenient a knob is until I went to a unit without one. I may buy the remote just for the purpose of easier volume control.

Wiring for camera for 2008 Toyota tundra.

The harness in the truck tires to the lights. So when you turn headlights on it error out. So I found out through tunes talk. I gave up trying to find a trigger wire in that area and ended up running a wire to the passenger side kick panel. There's a blue wire in the lower white plug that gets 12v when the vehicle is put in reverse.

Awesome HU, sounds and functions great

2013 Subaru BRZ
- Incredible sound compared to stock.
- I'm running about 50RMS/ch to aftermarket 6" coaxials in the doors and ~400RMS to a 10" sub.
- The HU powers the dash and rear speakers.

Sound: It bumps so clean and hard even at very loud volume, with very little tuning needed.
Function: Everything works great. I was surprised no multi-touch, so you can't pinch zoom on maps, but no big deal.

Very impressed. The HD radio is well worth it if you plan to listen to any radio at all. I'm glad I got the 709S vs the 7709s.

Awesome Headunit. Slim form factor is great!

HU is great. I like how it's not as bulky as my old kenwood knob dial headunit. I have alot of space in the space behind it for wires which I didn't have before. The memory recall/save feature is awesome. It does what it's supposed to do so no complaints there. Only issue is the emergency system messages which automatically set your radio to play. It's annoying BUT it can be turned on. ALSO, if you're coming from a HU with a dial, this does take some time to adjust to. Overall HU is great.

Nice tiny camera!

I got this camera free with a purchase of a Sony xav6000 head unit. I am upgrading a 2010 Corolla and the camera is a great addition. I was able to mount it rather easily but I had to use a noise canceller because I was getting static when I was hitting the brakes. Only a $7 part but by using it and grounding the negative to the frame, it is perfectly clear all the time. I recommend this camera for its high definition, size and price. It will function as good as higher priced cameras. No leaks! Cheaper backup camera's get moisture in them often. Not this one, already been in downpours and passed flying colors!
