The Kenwood is a perfect solution for what I needed. My Iphone 5 connected instantly via Bluetooth and the unit has more features than I really need - but someday I'll get to know and use them. The tuner was a great upgrade along with the sound quality. I have yet to replace my factory speakers but after the easy install it made a noticeable improvement in sound quality.

I scoffed at the remote control but it certainly makes fiddling with the multitude of options a pleasure now - especially in this hands-free society.

I do miss my steering wheel controls and wish the supporting units were not so expensive.

Awesome!

Along with having everything needed for installation, the installation of this production was definitely straight forward. The only thing that isn't mention for my model of vehicle installation is that if there is a factory amplifier that must be removed prior to installation of head unit.

Most bang for little buck

Bought this for my Audi TT. Wanted bluetooth capability and rcas for a small sub. This deck had everything i was looking for and more. I was amazed that i use the pandora feature way more than i thought i would. The ability to switch tracks and thumbs up and down from the HU made it super easy to use. Overall it was well worth the small price. I got a bose harness from enfig that made it possible and super easy to install.

This is a great product only issue if you using Bluetooth with your iPhone
All 4 speakers won't work only 2 in front ,

The Kenwood KDC-BT562U was a great value from Sonic Electronix. I purchased it to put in my 2007 Jeep. It came with FREE installation parts which was a fantastic value as Best Buy charges $50 - $75 for comparable parts. It was easy to install with Sonic's step-by-step instructions. Saved another $69 doing the installation myself and I'M A GIRL WHO KNEW NOTHING ABOUT INSTALLING A RADIO... I do now!
The sound is amazing and I am now rocking and rolling. I love the changing colors, the PANDORA and SIRIUS built-in apps, and the detachable face....also a sweet remote that makes transitions a breeze. This is a great value from a company whose prices and customer service are AAA+++!

this is a great product coming from kenwood. in the lower price range but not at all lacking in features. installing it was simple as could be and the sound is crisp and clear. only down side is my factory door speakers start distorting at volume lever 25/35. nothing to do with the head unit but it makes me realize how bad my current speakers are. no wonder i can barley hear the music over my subs. over all a great product. buy it.

good value for amazing features

i love the bluetooth and the capabilities of the phonebook of which it allows for me to scroll thru call on the head unit. so many setting for the subwoofer i was amazed at. havent ot to the usb and aux input for the MP3 player features.good buy!!!

I like it, but I wish it held more CDs than just one at a time. The worst part is that the display doesn't show during the day, so it is very difficult to switch among choices. I was on a long trip and it was frustrating to go from radio to CD or iPhone when you lost a station. I finally just turned the thing of, which was also difficult because I can't see what is going on!!!!!

Excellent upgrade

This is an excellent upgrade over my factory CD player. Bluetooth calling is a nice feature to have. My only complaint would be that it is a little slow/cumbersome to navigate the ipod using the stereo (a little bit of lag maybe?) Overall, I'm very happy though.

i like the deck in my work van with infinitys 2x 6.5 2x 5 inch sounds great but theres always a but i replaced my dieing pioneer mp6800 with this deck plays well until volume level 25 plus decks same power as my pioneer same series op amp built in heres the problem heat sink on deck is 35 percent smaller and it runs hot so when volume is high thermal cutoff on amp starts shutting down and distorting as soon as i can im plugging in external but deck is smooth operating controls ipod nicely so i am happy with it and would buy another for my vitara 4x4

Lots of features !

I do recommend this headunit ! It has some cool features on it . Blue tooth works well on it . The install is pretty basic but don't forget to mount your hands free Mic . Bottom line it's a great unit for the money ! About to but another for a friend !

Amature Installer

I bought this for my daughters Acura because she wanted to be able to play music from her iPhone. This Unit with the free install accessories was a piece of cake. Had the unit installed in under a half hour. Sounds great. Could be a much more expensive unit by sound quality. Pushes 4, 6 inch speakers very well. Will distort if you turn it up to stupid level.
I would recommend this unit and Sonic Electronix. This is my second purchase from this vendor. Exemplary service both times.

Killer Radio!!

Just installed the radio and I love it. I have been installing radios in my own vehicles and friends' vehicles for years now and this one is my favorite yet. Bluetooth functionality is awesome and works great with my iPhone 4S for streaming Spotify and making and receiving calls. Being able to use Siri through my head unit is great. Highly recommend this Kenwood unit!!!

Unit works great, hands free mic is horrible sounding on receiving end. Returned it for an external Mic.

Best HeadUnit There Is!

I put this in my 91 Camaro yesterday and I must say I love It. Sound is great....Bluetooth is clear Pandora is a nice touch but streaming audio could be a lil better. Unit responds fast and pairing it with my Iphone was a breeze! I thought I would have to change my Factory Speakers but they sound great! I highly recommend this unit! Great price Sonic and good job Kenwood. I will be buying another for my Civic!

Not compatible with all steering wheel controls

When using this stereo with a steering wheel control (yes, the steering wheel control unit was specified as being compatible with this unit) it would not allow the installer to program the Mode button to switch between stereo bands instead of input mode, nor to have the Ch +/- button to switch between stereo presets instead of seeking. When replaced by a similar Pioneer unit, these functions were possible.

Can't go wrong with Kenwood

I recently installed this in a friends '02 Silverado and it's a nice little unit. Packed with features most other brands only give you at a much higher price point. Not only that, it looks and sounds great too. If you're on a tight budget and looking for the best sound and features, look no further, this is your stereo!

This is a great stereo. The bluetooth works great, it sounds great . I would highly recommend sonicelectronics for your stereo needs. They sell great equipment at the lowest price I have found. They get you your equipment very quickly.

I really like this unit

I purchased this unit to replace the aging oem unit in my Wife's Suburban. Luckily for me I have a good friend that is a stereo install expert. The install with the supplied mounting kit and wiring harness went off without a hitch. The unit has a ton of features and sounds pretty good with stock speakers. I'm upgrading the speakers in the near future along with an aftermarket amp. I mainly got this unit for the Bluetooth capabilities and I've used Kenwood products in the past with great success.
Cost for what you get make this unit an awesome deal (IMO) not to mention it looks sharp.
Would definitely purchase again and recommend.

KDC-BT648U

This unit is kinda driving me crazy. Always goes into demo every time its turned off. Doesn't restart at the same function where it left off when you power the car down. Always scrolling through menus. Kinda sucks.

Great choice!

I have owned this product for over 3 months.
I have no bad things to say about it, except the BT audio. People I am calling while using this unit say the audio cuts in and out, or I sound like I am in a tunnel. The display is good. In retrospect I should have just spent a little more money to get the BT848U whuch has a three line display.

My husband loves his stereo not to mention the mic. I hated him talking on the phone while driving but now that he has the microphone it's a lot safer and can be on the phone.

Decent.... but the volume stops at the number 35. You cant even hear it from volume nbers 1 through 15

This is a good basic radio. Only drawback is that the buttons are very small and makes it hard to adjust when driving. Although, the remote helps.

Very pleased

Got this for my 98 F150 and it sounds great! Surprisingly better than expected and the only 1 I found that had everything I was looking for. Very nice looking deck and enhances the interior. Love it!

I'm very happy with my new stereo. I installed it in my 1970 SS Chevelle. Now it has a modern sound system with blue tooth to make and receives phone calls, cd player, usb port to put music on a flash stick, and am and fm radio with plenty of preset channels. I love it.

Great head unit!

Alright so i originally went with this unit because of the multiple rca inputs, my 99 mustang gt came with factory subs and needed a head unit that had atleast two rca inputs. This unit has three so it covered both my factory subs and i have a spare for my aftermarket sub set up when i get to it! I've had this unit almost a month now, did all the installation work myself and i have nothing negative to say about this unit other than at first the faceplate seemed to be a little flimsy or felt fragile but its held up wonderfully regardless of the vibrations emitted by the cars engine and transmission! The color option is sweet, the unit is very simple to use, with nice features and a very nice range of tuning for whatever music you may listen to. Overall i give five stars, thanks for your great service sonicelectronix! I will be back for future projects!
