I love it

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

I highly recommend this product. It has taken some getting used to all the features. My only issue is the salesman told me i needed the antenna adapter, but I did not. The radio syncs to my phone rapidly and the sound is great. I am considering upgrading my speakers to match the quality of the system.

Awesome Radio!!

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

This radio will suit everything you possibly need, the Bluetooth is fast and clear. It has noise reduction so when someone calls you they dont hear themself over your system. Very loud and lots of cool features.

Pretty Good

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

I like the color display change feature, although I wasn't aware when I purchased it that only the buttons change and not the actual words/readings. The bluetooth is also a nice feature when it works but doesn't connect with my phone 100% of the time; the mic picks up your voice well though. I like all the options for the settings but I hate the fact it doesn't have an "ATT" button to turn the music down like my old Kenwood did. Other than that sounds pretty good and not a bad price.

Great deck!

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

Its a great deck with all the features I was looking for! Only problem I ever have is connecting to Pandora on my Android phone. I don't know if its a Kenwood thing or a Pandora thing but at times its frustrating... Overall I'm very happy with the deck!

Perfect

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

Kenwood hits a homerun with this unit. Bluetooth connection to my razor phone is great. I can play my music from the phone without a cable. The sound is super clear with the HD reciever. Best radio you can buy for the money. Who would have ever thought you could be able to get this many features for such a reasonable price. Easy to use controls with a back button which makes it easy to navagate. You can not go wrong with this radio!

Great Radio

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

Stereo works great.
The sound quality is loads better than the stock radio and I love having bluetooth in the car. Connects to my phone automatically. If I'm listening to music it switches over to phone. Handsfree!

2002 Camaro

Fantastic head unit, looks great in my car, I hooked it up to Infinity PR6500cs, and PR6502is in the rear (I had to modify for them to fit the rear) and this unit powers them nicely I did add an amp with 1062w Infinity 10" and its a nice responsive set up for the music I listen to IE - Porcupine Tree, Tool, Ayreon, Led Zeppelin, Metallica
OH and!
I do agree with the glare issues but that is only when it is hit by direct sunlight

Kenwood KDC-BT752HD

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

I researched head units for a few month prior to purchasing this one. The main reason I chose this particular unit was because of the Bluetooth capability. After extensive research for that topic, specifically, all the returns either website, manufacturer, or tech support (i.e. Crutchfield) they said the Kenwood KDC BT series was top rated for Bluetooth support. This unit automatically adjusts the volume when switching between sources (i.e. phone call back to radio or mp3 player) This was key for me. As I played with this unit over time I've been continuously impressed by the functionality. Direct Ipod/iPhone support, Pandora streaming, and HD radio to name a few. I have 2 amps (1x 4 channel and 1x mono) and this unit controls them flawlessly. Overall I am impressed with the clarity of the sound from phone calls, CD's and streaming music via Bluetooth as well as the functionality that this unit offers. I would recommend this to any one. As a side note, this is my first non-clarion deck in 15 years and I plan to stay with Kenwood due to this unit.

Great replacement Radio

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

This is a great HD radio. But not for the technically challenged. Like the bluetooth and usb port for a flash drive. I also like the way you can change the color on the front of the unit. It also makes great use of my existing speakers already in my car. In all, I'm really pleased with my purchase and the great price through Sonic Electronix.

Good for the price.

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

Good deck, good power. It even sounds ok with factory speakers. The blue tooth freezes alot, especially if you use the Pandora feature. Only thing missing is a SD card slot.

Very Good Value!!

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT755HD).

Installed easily with the Scosche CJ1282B and CR01B, dash kit and wire harness adapter, respectively, in a '99 Dodge Caravan. Replaced the OEM speakers with mid-level speakers and the sound quality is much more accurate and way improved over the stock set up.

The Kenwood KDC-BT755HD is feature rich for the price. I especially like the Blu-tooth pairing with iPhone 4S that enables a good quality hands-free calling and effortless audio streaming from my iTunes.

The HD radio station reception is very strong and a noticeable improvement in sound quality over the non-HD radio stations.

Plugging in my iPhone into the USB port provides the best audio quality - a trade-off of convenience versus Blu-tooth connectivity.

The iPhone integration works very well. With Blu-tooth connection, the iPhone Maps (GPS) turn-by-turn directions come through the speakers, and Siri responds responds as expected.

I'm impressed, and happy with my purchase!

GREAT RADIO / GREAT PRICE / THANKS SONIC

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT755HD).

So far I love it--I don't know about longevity yet--Bluetooth works flawless-MP3 is perfect via the USB port. There are plenty of radio stations broadcasting in HD in my area and they sound great ! I printed off the owners manual from the Kenwood site so I'm still learning all the features and what this thing is capable of doing (it's been installed approx. 3 weeks) Over the years I've owned Pioneer,JVC, Sony, Kenwood and Alpine---this radio hands down is the best. I was shopping for a unit with HD Radio----Bluetooth and good RMS power this radio has it all. My aftermarket speakers have really come alive-- I 'm not running a amp at this point but will likely get a sub in the future. Thank you Kenwood and Sonic for offering this product!!

Killer Head Unit

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT755HD).

I was shopping around local places and other name brand websites for a new car radio receiver. Stumbled upon SonixElectronix.com and was hooked.
Best prices, knowledgeable help, fast shipping.
The Kenwood head unit is AMAZING !!! HD Radio, Bluetooth, Pandora, iHeart Radio & Aha (new social media app) This lil baby can't be beat. Awesome features, I love the fact i can change the surrounding display color to match my cars factory interior lighting.
HD radio comes in crystal clear, the CD player works flawlessly, Ipod hook up/aux control is smooth.
Bluetooth calling is high quality, streaming is top notch too.
I would purchase this head unit again and again.

AWESOME!!!!!

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT755HD).

I replaced an older Pioneer head unit in my Kia Spectra w/ Kenwood KDC-BT755HD. CANNOT explain in words how much this unlocked my system! I thought I had great sound before. My 2 12" subs hit 10 times harder than before & have much better response than I thought possible. The highs & mids are much cleaner & more defined also. All from a simple head unit change. Also LOVE it so much, I installed one in my Mercedes with competition speakers. WOW!! What a difference in that, changing from a Panasonic.

great unit for the price

I bought this unit for my `04 Freightliner ,it is the first Kenwood I have ever owned but have always been told that it is the best unit for over the road trucks,I haven`t been on the road since I installed it yet but I am going to work this week,it was easy to install took all of about 1/2 an hour, sounds great in the truck,a lot better that the one I took out,it was in the truck when I bought it and wasn`t ever a very good one,I love the features on the Kenwood, the colors on the face plate are cool, wish the day and time was a little bigger but I have all that on my phone when I need it so not a big deal to me,I am more into the remote and data features then any thing,I haul over size loads, extra long and those features allow me to watch the road and not the face plate trying to find a station. It will take me some time to get use to and learn to use all the features, and I am still not sure about how well it will do in my truck, but I will soon find out,so for that reason and from the word I have from good friends that have owned a Kenwood is the reason I gave the durability only 3 stars,I just don`t know yet. So far I think that I have made a good choice for the money.

Best Head Unit I have used!

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT755HD).

I have not had much experience with Kenwood until a few weeks before purchasing this stereo. When I finally got hands on, I fell in love with Kenwoods over Pioneer, Alpine, Jensen, Dual, etc. The bluetooth works flawlessly and the person on the other end says it comes in crystal clear. The HD radio is able to pick up a fair amount of HD stations even being out in the middle of nowhere. Almost every click with the seek button is landing .2 up or down and a station is coming in, a lot that I have never heard of. The sound customization is superb and beats out a lot of other stereos in this price range with having a 3 band graphic equalizer along with loud and bass boost. There are not enough words to describe how happy I was when I installed this and it worked perfect and had no issues with any of the features. I would recommend this for anybody looking for both bluetooth and hd radio without breaking the bank.

Good Product

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT755HD).

Make sure you know how to solder the wires together. As a first timer installing a head unit, this was the longest and most tedious part. Aside from connecting the wires, installation to the car was easy.

The features listed were almost exactly how I wanted. Pandora works like a charm with the iPhone app. The hands-free bluetooth calling is works flawlessly. The mic sound quality is very good as told by others on the receiving end of the call.

This unit is iPhone/iPod compatible. Unfortunately, I cannot scroll through my playlists using the unit's navigational buttons. The search button doesn't work in iphone mode. I have to use my phone to select a playlist. Also, it doesn't show the title/artist of the songs either. These features work well with Pandora though.

Overall, as my very first bought head unit, I am very satisfied.

Great media player

The following review is for a previous version (KDC-BT752HD).

I have had this installed for quite some time, in a couple different vehicles, and it's a great little unit. Easy to use, good number of settings for customization, and good sound. I would recommend Kenwood to anyone. They have always lasted well, worked great, and have had good features for the price.
