Great deck!

I love this deck. Best deck I've ever had.
Only downfalls are the display isn't super bright and I'm no professional audio guy, and trying to tune the deck to my speakers was a little difficult. Still haven't been able to figure out how to just turn down the bass.
Amazing unit though, love the functionality of it and the Pandora connect feature. Great price !

I installed the KENWOOD KDC in my 1994 volvo 940 and it is just excellent. The only problem is daytime visibility on the display but that does not take away from it's incredible functionality.

It has a 13 band equalizer which takes my speakers sound to the next level as well as many other quality control functions like a 5 level bass control and sound realizer aswell as offsets and fader/balance controls. There is also a "DRIVE EQ" within the sound effect panel and that gives the volume a nice clean punch all around. You can set the actual speaker size settings for example if you got 6 1/2inch speakers in the front and 6×9 speakers in the back you can program in the speaker size and it makes them even sound better. I spent plenty of time setting the sound settings but I enjoy doing it and the reciever lets you get the exact sound out of the speakers you want.

In terms of the services it has it can stream Pandora right from your phone. You just set it up (says how to do it in the manual, not that hard) and whenever you sit in the car and set the audio source to PANDORA it will just stream it from your pocket or anything bluetooth but it will automattically recognize your phone and open your pandora from your pocket. It has an aux (headphone jack) and usb so there is plenty of ways to stream just about anything. It also has HD radio so it can stream radio stations digitally for stations that have it. Also with pandora it will stream and you can set the reciever to show the time or say the title and artist while it streams and you can do your "thumbs up and thumbs down" from the reciever. I have also tried the phone feature with the mounted microphone and it says whos calling and the microphone sounds great and there is also noise supression and volume controls for the microphone aswell.

I love this reciever and it has deep functionality and very flexible audio control to get the best out of your car sound system.
