It's a really nice, but inexpensive Kenwood unit. Love it!

I bought the KDC-HD262U for my wife's Accord to replace the awful factory unit. The relocation kit made it work very nicely. My wife is pleased with it and I love the thing. I want to get another one for my car. The display is a bit dim in bright sun but other than that it all works well. This is probably my third Kenwood head unit and I'm very happy with their products. Props to SonicElectronics also, for such prompt service and delivery. Can't beat their prices either. They gave me the complete installation kit with the deal. I highly recommend them, and I'll definitely use them again next time!

good deck on the cheap

I had to do a full install in my sister's new ride. She wanted the whole thing done for under $400. This was my choice for a deck. Super happy, and surprised at some of the features. If I needed a deck on the cheap this would be the choice.

Giving Kenwood another try.

This is my third Kenwood. The second unit gave up the ghost after three years, but all others have been very solid products. Not having access to this car very often, I really did a "professional" but very quick installation of this unit and its Scosche installation/relocation kit and harness on my wife's 05 Honda accord. It all went really smoothly, but the kit isn't a quite a "perfect" fit. The kit was under some stress getting it all fastened into the console, but is still pretty solid feeling. I guess I'm being very picky, but it is at least better than 98%, I'd say, in meshing seamlessly within the console. Considering all this hardware in this price range, I'm giving it five stars because it was a decent, and very affordable solution to what ails these cars in the entertainment department. 7th generation Honda Accords have a well known radio issue. I'm still waiting to see if my wife likes the set up or not. I thought it was pretty good myself. The sound was very good on stock speakers ...and very adjustable, plus this Kenwood receiver looks great in the lower dash, IMO. If she doesn't like it, it's going into my 04 Civic! I mean, come on... less than $110.00 for the whole install? I love it! Not to mention the very fast shipping, and all packaged perfectly. Thanks Sonicelectronics! I'll be buying from you again soon, I'm sure!

Pretty cool radio! Like the different colors. It's weird that you can turn the radio off with the remote, but not on? But it works great!!
