I bought this head unit for the obvious quality reasons but my friend has the older version (KDC-x994) which bluetoothed anything from your phone (youtube, music, ect). I was really looking forward to it but those features were replaced with the pandora (which must be hard wired to an ipod which is useless without wifi). The only bluetooth remaining is the Handsfree calling. HD radio works very well. Can be pretty slow loading information from a flash drive but you can't expect much from there. If you don't have an ipod, i would recommend a different head unit compatible with your audio device. Over all, i love it.

Great Unit

This unit is great, there are alot of settings, if the 59 page manual is read setup will be a breeze, high volt outputs, speaker size and configuration work well, I should tell you I am running the bass through the crossover and my fronts are amped and im using the KDC settings, al in all it is a great setup. I went from always owning pioneer premiers last was a deh-710 which was awesome but the KDC -995 in my opinion beats anything else out there. The price is cheap for what you get, just remember the manual is everything and it does not come with the unit, its a download from Kenwood.

Bought this to replace my factory unit, and I` m glad I did...
This has so many features and tweaks that you can do...
5 band eq is a plus , makes the sound alot better,,, than just having bass & treble controls.....
well worth the money I spent on it

Just excelent!

This radio has its pros and cons.
Cons: The display is excelent at night but during the day you struggle to see it! Also, comes with a bag for the face plate so, don't let it fall!
Pros:This radio has lots of features! The audio quality is perfect but you must know how to set this up and also, you must have good speakers, amps and a sub! Don't bother to buy this radio if you going to use factory speakers. The bluetooth is excelent. People can hear me fine every single time. The radio turner reception is very good. Ipod, Aux in works perfect! The USB works excelent except that for some reason doesn't access some of my folders (maybe because my 64GB thumb drive has more that a 1,000 folders (a folder per artist) but still needs to google it) but I can still play the mayority! Haven't try Pandora yet because I live in Canada and doesn't work here.
I definitely, I will buy it again! I have no regrets except for the display! Excellent product!
