Great for my 1988 Vanagon

Speaker had good sound and most importantly fit into the original footprint of my 1988 Vanagon Syncro speakers. I have bought two sets, one to replace the front speakers and one set for the back speakers.

I'm happy with the fit. As far as sound goes, they are better than the original speakers. If I had wanted to modify the vanagon, I could have bought better, but this works for me and my classic rock station.

Great Speakers

These speakers are great and work very well with my Toyota avalon 98. The bass is great with my stock amp and sub. They blow my factory speakers out of sight.

terrific speaker to replace those worn out OEM speakers

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

I replaced the damaged rear speakers in my 1996 Suzuki Sidekick with these speakers. They are superior to the factory original Advent speakers, and improve the terrible sound quality of the stock stereo. This is the stock stereo system, so I didn't expect a dramatic change, but I am very pleased with the sound since the addition of these Kenwood speakers.

kenwood kfc-1052s

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

I would recommend these for great sound quality and treble for the price.

Great sound for the price

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

These are good speakers, they sound good at high volume. I have them running off an old 50w amp and they are loud. Yes they don't need the amp but why not run it since i have to power my 4way 6.5" in the back. The one thing that i wish was better is they tend to distort if the bass is turned up on the speakers other then that they are great.

Happy with quality for the price

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

The speakers sound good. Not the greatest sound but good for the price. Didn't use the grills they came with, as I used existing car panel. They were the size I needed and the depth wasn't too deep so they fit easily for install.

Meh

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

Well. They are small speakers. It turns out I probably could have gone a size bigger. They are easily overpowered by my 6.5 in the rear. So that kind of is a bummer. Not sure if it is the size of the speakers or the quality. Since I have never owned any other set of 4" speakers.

Porsche 928 replacement

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

Fits perfect in the stock front and rear locations and allows for original grille retention. Definite upgrade from the stockers (mine were toast after 20+ years). Great price and good sounding. Plug and play.

Not great but still a good buy

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

I purchased these speakers to replace the OEM speakers on the back of my 1986 Goldwing. The Kenwoods are certainly better than the originals, better by a great deal, but they aren't quite what I was expecting. Perhaps I was expecting too much. These are a good set of speakers, especially for the price.

Kenwood KFC-1052S Speakers

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1052S).

I got these for my 57 Chevy Apache Pickup. I installed them in the kick panels and also use the baffels to keep the sound inside the cab. They sound awsome with the Kenwood receiver I have and am glad I chose these. Clear and no distortion, u gotta use the baffels or u will loose the quality of the sound.
