Great little speakers

Installed in the ceiling of our travel trailer, paired up with a Sony CD receiver. Not a bunch of bass, but to be expected in a 5.25" speaker. Good midrange and highs. Certainly a step up over the el cheapo dual cone units that came with the trailer. Great value!

sounds good to me

Wired them in they work ok. Its in a convertible though so sound quality is hard to judge. no problems just cant honestly give them a better rating for those that have more sophisticated tastes.

Cheap but don't sound very good

If you are looking for quality sound I would not recommend. I put them in an older jeep and they don't sound good at all.

(Good Sound If U Have A Good Stereo Deck)

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1362S).

Good sound if u have a good stereo deck. Nice crisper sound not too bad for low ends. It is 5-1/4 speakers and they are small. It does great for the size. I test all the HZ frequencies for the speakers and i used song HZ frequency. It was better around for low HZ 63. I tried it 40HZ with 0db and it couldn't handle it. But with -6db it was ok. This is for people who like bass as well. For the mid range frequency they did better for -3db. I test a few frequency and 500HZ sound it the best for the mids. For the high range. 20000 HZ sound great for 0db. But 22000 HZ it was good for -3db. I also tried more high range Frequencies. Starting 24000 HZ it still can handle it with a db of -12 which is close to 0db.

They have a nice sound for mids and highs. The lows could be better but they are small speakers. I have heard other 5-1/4 speakers sound worse big time. So ya I will give them high score as 4 rating.

Kenwood KFC-1362S

The following review is for a previous version (KFC-1362S).

well, i would recommend these speakers if you just need something to add to the sound, they have no lows at all and didn't put me in awe but they work.
