Good For Price

These speakers do the job. they aren't expensive so you get what you paid for. I would recommend these speakers to someone who just wants some basic sound in your car. They do get nice and loud but also they get scratchy at to high of levels. if you are looking to overpower some subs these will not do the trick.

Great Speaker!

For the price, you cannot beat the sound coming from these speakers...even off of just an aftermarket HU with no external amp. Clean and crisp, just what the doctor ordered and all on a very tight budget!

Great Speakers + Great Sound = A Must Have

I bought these to replace my front door speakers for my 03 Saturn L200. They are running from a Sony CDX-2250 head unit (that I am soon to replace).

First off these speaker sound wonderful. They produce a wonderful sound even at low levels. The highs are very sharp and the Mid's are nice and clear. Even at High levels the sound is not distorted. Even thou you can power them with a sub you don't need to that would be over kill. Something like taking an 18 wheeler to go get a quart of milk.

Installation was a breeze. If you can read and have a drill than you can install these no problem. Just one note use a titanium drill bit for the door. Because you will need to drill holes, just place the speaker in the door and use a marker for the holes. Don't use the templet on the back.

All in all they are a must buy. Next I am going to order the Kenwood KFC-1693PS for the rear doors and some Sound Dampening martials so my door wont rattles when I have my music all the way up.

Outstanding one stop shopping

I can review the product, and of course Kenwood speakers can speak for themselves, but I'd rather comment on the outstanding customer service. 5 stars all the way! I love buying from Sonic.

Good Front Speakers

Sound very nice and clear, replaced factory speakers with the ken's and it does a lot better of a job, even thinking about amplifying them.

sounded good

Unfortunately someone else liked my new radio and speakers so well that they stole the vehicle and releived me of the complete sound system a few days after installation. I'll "pop rivet" instead of using screws next time. Maybe they won't think to bring a cordless drill?

Great sound, no bass

I got these speaker to replace my 15 year old stock speacker in my 4runner. These speaker sound really clear but...they have no bass whatsoever. whenever bass hits, it sounds like it is way to much for the speaker and distorts, even at low volumes. They are hooked up to my aftermarket headunit, so its not that. the mids are great, the highs are great, but the bass sucks.
