Alright

Not a direct replacement for the sequoia front speakers. The magnet is much smaller.

Simply Awesome!

I was looking to upgrade my old Pioneers in the rear deck of my '75 MG Midget. The cutouts in the roadster were fitted for 6.5" so I decided to stick with the size. I purchased these because I believed at the time a channel/speaker was bad. First thing I thought to do was replace the speakers. It was inexpensive, so it was not an issue buying new.

Recieved these speakers in a short amount of time, I love the processing and shipping speeds at Sonic. Speakers were great, unboxed them, no issues, looked great. It came with a set of wires to hook up to the speaker. I saved them cause the speakers I had in had the same connections. Swapped them out in ten minutes and noticed a change in all ranges. It sounded great.

Turns out a channel wasn't bad. My auxillery cable was garbage and would only give one channel output. So I replaced them essentially for no reason but decided to keep them in.

Overall great performance on the speakers. Being they were installed in a two seat convertible, and there only being two rear speakers and one in the radio console, it was a fine upgrade. They sound great in all ranges, give off good bass for what they are. I would definitely recommend these. In the future I'd love to power these and a small 8" sub with a little amp to get an amazing system. Definitely would recommend to anyone. Whether it be for your sedan, coupe, truck, SUV, or Roadster like mine. Nothing beats the sales and shipping at Sonic either. Overall win!

I recently installed 4 of these speakers in my truck and what a huge improvement. For how inexpensive these are they are amazing for the money. I had the old ones installed and the new ones blow those away. Such good clean and clear sound. They are also able to handle a lot of power. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve the overall quality in their system.

These speakers are terrible, had them in my pontiac g5 for about a month and they blew out. Not pleased with these at all, im def going to upgrade to some alpine type-r speakers.

Great speakers

These speakers wont disappoint. The clarity of the highs and mids are exceptional and the lows are surprisingly good, which i wasn't expecting.
Overall quality and price make these a great buy!

good deal

got these for my '90 toyota extracab to put in the doors, sonic always seems to have fast shipping, second time ive ordered. these speakers have good highs, as far as the lows go they are average, but i also got the hifonics zues component system to fix that, witch really drop low. just needed to get something cheap to replace the old torn ones that were in there.

Great speaker for the price!

I bought these for a shallow mounting depth in a 1996 bronco. They fit no problem and sound waaaay better than the 12 year old factory speakers. Nice and clear. Good highs and mids.. bass a little light but what I would expect in a 6.5" speaker. HOT price to boot!!!

So far so good

Just installed these a few days ago and love them. I knew that I had blown my factory speakers, but had no idea how badly, when I pulled them out, neither of them had ANY of the surround left. Needless to say these are a huge improvement over stock. I haven't really put them to the test too much, but at this point I know that there is some distortion at high volume with lots of bass, but I didn't expect the greatest speakers evermade for the price. Just have to add in that my rear 2 speakers are still blown, and I plan to install the same style/ level 6x9's there

These speakers are a great value. They are definitely an improvement over the stock set. Haven't had any issues with them 2009 Honda Civic LX-S.

Great speakers

Kenwood is one of the few companies that are true to their products and they provide a great balance when it comes to cost, quality and performance.

They can take some heat too, there have been a few times that I made these speakers produce some terrible sounding noises on accident and they still have not blown. These speakers came with everything you need to get them mounted.

Nice

Bought these to replace my stock speakers, because i couldn't hear them over my subs. They are great but make sure you have an amp to these, because my car comes with amps from the factory and when i turn them off the speakers are terrible. They need the power and are great with it.

I picked these speakers up for my g/f's 03 Honda Civic Coupe. These speakers where very easy to install and sound great even off the pioneer's internal deck amp.

Sounds alright

I bought these for my 09 Silverado Crewcab rear doors and have them hooked up to my JVC head unit. They are each rated at 35W RMS and the head unit I have is giving them 20. I'm sure they will get a little louder once I amp them, but compared to the stock speakers, these have little to no bass. When I turn the bass on the head unit up, these things struggle to perform and distort the highs severely. The highs and mids on them are very clear and crisp, which is all that I am looking for out of them because I will be adding subs. I have them crossed over at 135Hz now and they sound really nice, but don't buy these if you're not adding a sub or two.

Grate deal

Above average speakers, They have a nice sound as do most Kenwood speakers. Not the best speakers ever made but for the price, you just cant beat the deal, Grate price and grate place to buy your electronics from. Fast shipping and fast service.

Horrible Tweet Design

We used a tech in matching a amp to these speakers within two weeks the tweeters blew so we went to sound advice and got the same speakers backed by a lifetime warranty and they work great to this day same amp is being used.

Sounds Great!

I have 2 pairs of these amplified to 62.5 watts each. They are very clear and LOUD! They can handle some power. But if u are looking for bass go for another set of speakers bc they are meant for the highs and mids.

These are some clean sounding 6.5 ! I installed them using a small amp with 75 watts going to each . These are the best 6.5 on the market for the money ! I High recommend these speakers for mids and highs !

These are great speakers if you have an amp hooked up to them, don't just run them off your HU cause they wont sound nearly as good.

i bought these speakers 6 months ago and have not had a single problem or complaint. They sound great and dont distort at high volume levels, although they dont have a ton of bass, but thats even better if you have subs in your car. i accidentally left my window open when it rained and one of the speakers got soaked and i didnt expect it to workk anymore, but it still worked perfectly! You cant go wrong with these speakers

they do fit

these speakers fit perfectly into my 01 jeep wrangler sound bar
don't have them long enough for a complete review but from installing them and a quick test drive a definite improvement over stock speakers
can't rate durability just installed today let you know in about a month or so

Terrible Speakers

Not recommended to anyone who actually uses their stereo. I am currently running these in my Nissan pickup as the main speakers. I have an aftermarket head unit and just got horrible results with these speakers.
Bass is very minimal for a 6 1/2 in speaker. I have had these speakers for about 3 weeks now and am regretting my purchase. I had 5 1/4 speakers from Walmart that performed much better.

Theyre OK

Theyre just as good as stock speakers...i dont really notice them...they are kenwoods tho...maybe its because theyre in my door i cant really hear them...i do recommend Kenwood i just dont know about these speakers.

Great Speakers

they are rated 40 watts rms and 240 watts peak. im running them on a jvc stereo that puts out 20 watts rms and 50 watts peak and they sound great, they don't get an extreme amount of bass, but they are very clear and crisp at normal bass levels. i reccomend these if you want clear sound and also, these go great with subs

Installed these in a 2006 Tahoe, have them powered by a small amp doing 50x4 and they sound awsome very low distortion at high volumes.

Everything I wanted, there's always a cheaper price but for the quality you can't go wrong. It brought my cars sound to life even from a sto'clock head unit.
