Needs a good head unit

Installed in a RAM 2500 (front doors), no other speakers in the vehicle, with a Valor 301 radio. The sound is OK but is distinctly lacking in lower end and is incomplete in highs. I have not tested the radio with any other speakers so I'm not sure which is at fault, but I'm assuming it's the radio :)

They look great and seem very well made.

Good SQ, Bad Bass :(

I bought these speakers not too long ago because like stated before by another review, they are the cheapest name brand speakers. With that said, they do sound very good but ONLY if your into mids/highs. But if your into bass like me, these are NOT the speakers for you. They can get pretty loud however with NO distortion, but as far as bass goes, thats it. I best describe them as speakers that have JL Audio sound quality, just without the thump. Overall, they are okay speakers if your looking to replace your OEM speakers, these are pretty good. But if you want bass, DON'T look this way.

Best bang for your buck

Massive improvement over stock two-ways. Highs are crisp and they have a very nice mid and lower range. To get the full potential of these speakers you should pair them with a 4 channel amp. Great overall budget buy.

Great speakers, not for heavy metal.

These point source speakers are wonderful for country, singer songwriter, acoustic, strings and much other music. I do NOT recommend them for heavy metal are very hard rock. You will hear crystal clear midrange that rivals speakers way above this price.
I am planning to build a set of garage towers with 2 of these in each tower (4 Ohms each). No crossovers needed as these are True full range speakers.

Not Bad

Not bad. Nothing amazing. I bought them because they were the cheapest name brand 6x9's I could find. they sound okay, performance is about average. like I said, for the money they work great. they play music.

THIS IS A BARGAIN

Very good product for your money, I pair these speakers with the Kenwood KFC-T207 tweeters and I got component sound quality plus a higher RMS. There may be better products out there but of course more expensive. I personally like Kenwood for being a reliable brand. Unless your vehicle comes with an upgraded sound system you would be surprised of the quality of speakers your vehicle is equipped with. So this is a very good upgrade if you want to use 6X9’s. I live in California and I have these speakers delivered to my door the next day. Again thank you Sonic great prices and ultra fast delivery.

Great speakers for the price.

Bought these speakers for a friend who owns a Nissan Pathfinder. Great sound for the price. Very satisfied.

Great factory replacement!

I bought these not only for the price but because my new headunit pushes 45watts x 4 and these speakers need 50 watts it sounds great probably the most affordable repmacement out there and if ur like me and have an aftermarket radio then the stock 15 watt speakers just dont cut it. All in all nothing bad to say about them id buy again if needed. Oh and if u have an 06 seabring u will have to break off the clips that hold the stock speaker to the mounting bracket for these replacements to fit.

They are an adequate replacement for OEM speakers, but nothing special.

Good speakers

Amazing speakers. At first they will sound mediocre, but after they break in, they will amaze you.

UnderDog

Must say on first glance was a bit skeptic but they were better than having nothing at all so I bought them. When my friends here these things play combined with the tweeters and my 2 10inch subs they peep in and all around the vehicle looking for the other speakers that they believe I have hidden. LOL. Thats why I give them the name UNDERDOG.

Great Single Driver sound at a Low price

Easily run with factory stereo, sound terrific especially for vocals, alt/country, singer/songwriter and Acoustic music. If you enjoy hard driving rock or big orchestra complex music these are decent but not as good as multiple driver speakers. For vocals and acoustic guitar these speakers truely shine. They live in the midrange with no crossovers at all to disrupt signals. But they are also truly full range speakers, in fact with the backs open air to my large car trunk the Bass is big deep and strong and I dont dare turn up the bass settings at all or need to. I highly recommend these. Got mine at auction dirt cheap too. They do take 50-100 hours to break in well, so if you don't love them the first day dont be alarmed, keep them running and hear them blossom. Alison Krauss never sounded better.!

Good purchase

I bought 3 different Kenwood's for 3 of my classic cars(Hot Rods) I am very happy with all of them. I think the value and quality are very good for the price if I need to purchase any more speekers it would be Kenwood

Great speakers for a great price

These speakers are great. I have had them for 6 months and really love them. They have really nice bass. I do not even use an amp and they kick nicely. In fact I turned the bass down a bit. These are great speakers and I highly recommend them. If you need speakers and are on a budget these will work great.

Very nice....Kenwood does not disappoint

Very nice speakers for those on a budget. Worked great in my little sis' car with another set of 6.5" from Kenwood. They lack in the low end but for less than 50 bucks a pair, you can't beat it. The highs and mids are very nice as well.

Great Value

I have these speakers in my 1992 Toyota Camry with a Pioneer head unit and they sound pretty dang good. I don't have an amp but when you crank them the high get so loud it hurts, as for the bass you can only turn it up 3/4 of the way before it distorts. Overall this is a great product for the price.
