Decent Sound for the price
I was looking for a cheaper set of speakers to replace the factory set on a 1994 Sidekick. Wasn't expecting the speakers to sound spectacular. Very decent sound for the price. No lows of any sort but the mids and highs are okay.

Great Value, Balanced Sound
I didn't see any other reviews for this speaker on the internet, so I figured I'd give these a shot since they are from a reputable company, new, and a great value. Here is my story, and review...
The stock speakers in my 2010 BMW 135i are terrible. The speakers were very shrilly, and prevented me from being able to enjoy my music at louder volumes. Once I installed these Kenwood KFC-C1055s's into my car, there was a very noticeable difference. The sound was louder due to the speaker being more efficient, and the sound was very balanced too! My car came with the base system, which does not include tweeters, and I do not feel like I need to install tweeters in my car after I boosted the treble some. These speakers are a wonderful value for the sound they produce! These speakers will work best running off of your head unit due to their low power handling. However the efficiency of the speakers allow them to produce a lot of sound per watt with an efficiency rating of 90dB.
Now onto the look and design of the speaker. The speakers are pretty low profile. They are designed in an okay manner, they look nice and professional, but they aren't something you'd want to show off due to the speaker cone design looking kind of cheap. They have a nice weight to them though, and the speakers have nice slide on connectors for when you need to install the speaker. This way you don't have to hold the door panel up while you solder the connection (I've had to do that before, and it's not fun).
Durability, Features, and Ease of Use:
The durability of the product seems to be pretty good. I've already pushed them with my head unit, and they haven't skipped a beat or distorted at all. The Features of this product are limited, since it is a value speaker... It doesn't come with any grills, (but I knew this before buying it, and grills are usually distasteful.) it does come with the easy connect and disconnect wires, the quick mounting hardware, and templates on the box. And ease of use is pretty high. The instructions on the back of the box were very informative if you required them for learning how to wire the speaker in different resistance setups, or learning how to use the mounting hardware.
Overall, I give these speakers 5 stars. They sound amazing in my setup (crossovered at 150hz). Run them off of your headunit since an amp won't provide any real benefit for their low power handling. I hope you all enjoy these as much as I have been if you do decide to buy them!
