Poly bass from a small speaker.

I use these in the back of my F-150. Since they are a poly-type cone, they offer better bass responce. They sound good coupled with my subs.

Good Speakers

Good crisp highs and mids. Bass is decent about what you would expect from 6x8s. Mounted in back of my 95 f-250 in place of 5x7s with some modification so they do fit a 5x7 hole as the description on crutch field said. Great speaker for the money.

Good price awful speaker

Bought theses cause they where on sell an had a good review but they didn't tell me after a couple days they would start blowing very disappointed with these wouldn't suggest this particular model of kenwood speakers keep looking if u can

Sound great. Metra Speaker Harness Beware.

Once the polarity issue of the metra harness is taken care of and they are not out of phase they sound great. No bass and using a metra harness, check the polarity most likely it is reversed and they are running 180 out of phase. Installed in a '08 F150 with a Kenwood DPX502BT and once the EQ is set up they sound fantastic. Great mids and highs and enough lows. If you want 'look at me' bass get a sub.

Great Speakers

I installed these speakers in my 2009 ford focus and wow the sound difference is amazing. I recommend that you install 6x8 speaker baffles because you get a lot of door vibration.

Kenwood is a great product . Just have to buy and try , promise you will like the upgrade for the price.

Best bang for your buck

These are like theveryone best speakers in have ever seen. Price range is fanominal. Not only that, the clarity, the lows, mids, and highs are amazing, so clear, crisp, clean, it's a amazing. I have two sets of these in my 06 ford escape with no sub, and they hit so hard, it makes my mirrors and rear view mirror vibrate. No subject is in the car. That's how powerful they are. We have them plugged in the radio so it's pushing make about 25 watts out of the oem radio since he oem speakers were 25watts. Theironically is absolutely no need to plug these in an amp. Since their full range, the onlyoung time you might have to is if you got like two 12s or something. But these speakers i would recommend to anybody. Kenwood has always been amazing.

Excellent Value

Installed Kenwood KFC-C6865S in rear wifes Zx2 with premium sound and factory amp. Immediate improvement was noticed. Treble and mid range were there and not bright just smooth natural sound. The real shocker was the bass coming from these. Am sure they have improved as time for breaking them in but wife does not comment unless something needs fixed.
