Good Value!

I really didn't know what to expect from a $100 head unit, but this has great sound quality, lots of sound settings, a parametric EQ, and hands free phone. The bad is the cheesy display that Kenwood has gone with on everything but their high end units, and not able to choose white as a screen color. One thing I've noticed is the bluetooth links up much faster than previous Kenwoods I've had. Be aware that this does not have a CD player, which doesn't bother me since I haven't used one in years.

Great Value!

The dash depth in my 95 Jeep XJ was quite small, so this half-depth stereo was a perfect choice. I added two sets of Pioneer coaxials, and they're running off this stereo. They sound fantastic after making a few adjustments to the sound settings. This replaced a 10 month old Sony stereo that stopped working and this Kenwood sounds A LOT better. Bluetooth pairing was a lot quicker than the Sony stereo it replaced, as well. I'd highly recommend this stereo to anyone on a strict budget. I was trying to spend as little as possible, as my Jeep is a winter beater.

Amazing sound! Loaded with features BLUETOOTH! HANDS FREE!

Picked this up at Best Buy on clearance for $75 NIB. THIS model is 22 watts x4 RMS. Not sure why Kenwood lowered the power on the unit that replaced this one! Customization options in the menu are plentiful. Color changes. High mid low crossover adjustable built in. Crystal clear with component fronts. I have yet to turn it to max volume as my ears can't take it! It is paired with Pioneer TS-D1730C in the front. And it sounds better than when I had amps in my car a few years ago. You don't need separate amp with this head unit to drive these component speakers.

Made remote face

I bought faceplate plugs and made a extension wire. Mounted the face palte in the dash of my chevelle. Mounted the unit in the dash. Everything works. Sounds and looks good.
