Great upgrade! Wireless CarPlay is a gamechanger
Great head unit and nice upgrade. It does a lot of things well and is easy to use and the screen resolution is nice. It gives me everything I need and the UI is fairly decent. Came with a 1-year warranty card VS the 2-year as advertised on Kenwood's site. I also don't understand why there needs to be two sperate USBs; one for apple and one for android.
One quirk I hate; can't toggle between cameras with the 'camera' button. It defaults to dash cam then you have to choose another option to show the rear (when not in reverse). I want to toggle between both with just that button.
I wish Carplay would allow for apps like MyQ (garage door opener) so I don't have to pull out my phone.
I also wished it had a smaller footprint to allow an add-on amp like the new Alpines do.
Other than that, you will be happy with the unit! It's fast, has a lot of adjustablity and I don;t miss having a DVD/CD-rom at all.
