Was looking for a simple head unit with 3 outputs and this fit the bill (5v outputs at that). Buttons are simple and do not have multi-function, which I prefer. Cannot speak to the longevity of this product as I have just installed it, but I am very pleased with what I have seen so far! Sonic also offered a discounted price on a new dash mount kit and pigtail which I did not need because I’m replacing an aftermarket unit. I took advantage anyways and installed it with the new mounting accessories. This resulted in a much cleaner install over using my old materials.

Didn't come with the correct equipment

The wire harness I got didn't connect to the amp I had and the mounting kit I received also didn't fit. The stereo itself works nicely, I just had to make a few extra purchases myself.

Great unit

Great unit the only thing doesn't have remote eye for rc 406 remote you have to download remote app which can be dangerous while driving. I had to swap the 305 to the 705 which is the same unit 25 dollars more but now I can use my rc 406 remote with it. Remote doesn't come with the unit had to order it separate. 12 bucks online.

Sounds great

Many features. Internal crossover. You can set door speaker and sub size, vehicle size, all kinds of things.

Sounds good. Subs sound tighter than they ever have. I recommend this. Good clean sound.

We came upon this great site!

My wife found this great site online when we were looking for a stereo for our newly acquired vehicle. We didn't really want to be driving all over creation and deal with salespeople so I checked out Sonic Electronix, what a find! Kenwood Excelon is just right for my needs

Has 3) 5v pre outs, time alignment, 13 band eq etc etc.. all the features you can get in a single din unit! The only complaint is the last one I purchased couldn't withstand the abuse of 155+ DB in my truck. ???? But it lasted me 2 years.. it's a very good unit, not meant to take the abuse I give them lol
