Love this radio! Sounds way better than my old sony one....its tuff to figure out at first but it's amazing after that

Amazing!!!

I have had this for 2 years and it works really good and it has a lot of settings to change which makes it sound better.

Good while it lasted

Owned this headunit for about six months before the sub preouts fried. Not only did the sub outs fry, but all three sets of the RCA's had fried. Checked the wiring on my sub and amplifier, and came to conclusion that they just fried over time. Only six months of use, and now I can only use the speakers. No sub hookup. 4 Volt preouts are nice, and it is quite a nice headunit. However, I would not recommend this for long term use. Sound quality is great, by reliability is lacking. Conclusion: Only good for temporary sound systems. Find a better product.

Awesome deal

This is my 3rd Kenwood I have ever owned and the Excelon Series are the best in my own opinion. They are built with better quality components that give you better performance and the sound quality is better than most expensive brands. And for the price I was stoked when received it was better than on the pictures and it worked flawlessly no issues however I do need an aftermarket amplifier for my component speakers to use them to their maximum potential.

Highly Disappointed in this Product

The product is complicated and very hard to use while driving. For example, it is hard to change functions (from FM to AM or to CD playing mode) as none of these functions are labled or visible. At night, it is very hard to find the power switch (this too is not illuminated well) and in groping to find this button it is easy to press the button directly above which dismantles the face of the receiver. The AM section does not work well (not nearly as well as the original radio which came with my Volks. Passat) in Manhattan which has tall office buildings.

I'd recommend it because of all the stuff you can do with it and because its an easy install.... but you should get one with bluetooth this one doesnt have it. and the faceplate case is lame its a bag but other than that its good i like the subwoofer options and the usb but the usb only plays mp3 files...

I bought this deck about a year and a half ago and it has worked incredibly well the entire time I have had it
I have had this deck with multiple systems and it is very easy to tune to different systems if you know what you are doing

Looks very nice!!!

This looks very nice and is very cheap for the looks, however there is only a 8 db gain on bass which doesn't add much for me. Also it is pretty confusing when you first get it. But you can get a hang of it after a little while. I would recommend this if you don't turn your bass gain up. But if you love cranking the bass then i wouldn't get this.

Great price with tons of features!!

I purchased this deck and am very pleased with it. It has a lot of features, clear display and easy to use. Sound quality is up there with the high end decks, hands down!! You will enjoy this product!!
