Great price for a great product

The following review is for KFC-X463C, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This is my first experience with Kenwood and I couldn't be more satisfied. The range is awesome, much better than my stock, and the instructions made it easy to install. Minor altercations were needed though. Other than that, very satisfied. Sonic had a helluva deal on them as well. I would recommend!

Crispy

The following review is for KFC-X463C, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Yes these speakers are EXTREMELY bright, but that's what makes them awesome. Anything from the Excelon series speakers are extremely bright. That's just the way they're designed. Their brightness compares to Klipsch but not as "bitey" but more bell-like (As they ARE soft-dome, think Pioneer TS-15 tweets). I mean look at the frequency response and sensitivity of these. GREAT speaker, especially paired with SPL systems where bass is in the 130-140 dbs. (Even off your head-unit)

Clear, ear bleedingly awful sounds

The following review is for KFC-X463C, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

These speakers sounded really awesome, but I don't recommend them to anyone unless you have hearing damage and cant hear high frequency's. At a volume level equal to a normal speaking voice the high/mid sounds of these speakers made both me, and my wife's inner ears hurt. They even gave her headaches, again, at low volume levels. Turning the mids and highs all the way down on the deck did not correct the problem either. Blaring the stereo with these was out of the question. I've never been into loud sound systems and I was just trying to get a really clear, crisp system going. I put the stock speakers back in, just so I could blare music again. I rate them as a 2 because they did at least sound awesome.
