Buttered up Bull Frogs!!!!
I really enjoy these speakers. Amazing bass response if properly installed with dampening, the tonal quality is warm, full, and rich. Like a buttered-up bullfrog. I have a single 12" kicker compr 500w RMS sub in kicker ported enclosure taking 500w RMS from a digital amp. more than enough bass to help dull the fact I'm in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata 240k. Surprisingly impressed when I had to turn these down so my sub would sound like its there. I have these in the front door factory location. 4-way configuration with 6.5 focal component woofer and alpine s series tweeter active 3-way crossover along with inline focal woofer cover. It complicated, a little, and wasn't exactly planned but they blend beautifully! There's so much more, cuz Its so much fun to watch people break their necks trying to pinpoint the location of the hi-res sound bouncing around the intersection.
The only con I can think of is I wish they would include some sort of heavy installation hardware. They will vibrate your windows, dash, feet, so they need to be anchored down.

I bought a pair of these XR - 1701 6.5" coaxials for the doors in my 2008 Mercedes SL 550.. I used the NVX speaker pods and used just a little poly fill and these speakers sound extremely good. Midbass is great and accurate. Tweeter is a perfect match. Crisp. Clean and spacious . Exactly what i wanted!
