I bought 2 of these subs two years ago along with a 400W Mono Kicker amp... and they've all made the trip from south GA to northern MN multiple times and they beat strong the entire time... oh yeah, out of that set up, 135 dB. Not bad if you ask me.

these subs Rock!!

i just bought 4 of these subs and put theem in my 2003 alero. they hit so hard that my rearview is lose. for the money they are awsome.

Disappointing, but not surprising

Got two of these in a sealed box, and ran them with 250 watts, and they hit about 115.2Db, rewired to power one at 500 and got about 115.5. Switched amps and threw 800 and they got up to 118. If just judging SQ, they're pretty good, but they can't step to a MTX4500 with 300watts or even my three year old Pioneer 306C at 400watts each. The MTX and the Kickers were both in a 97 Eclipse GS, and then the kickers moved to my 95 LHS with the Pios.

If you're looking for some small bump, you can throw 70 at these, or you could do a little looking and find some other subs for the same price that will be twice as loud and sound just as good. In my opinion, don't waste your money.

(I'm rating durability as a 3 because i can't actually say how durable they are, as i haven't had them for any extended length of time)

these subs are bumpin... i have two 12"'s and they are hooked up to kenwood class D mono amp... it makes it sound of the honk... it's true the rear view mirror start's to fall... i dont know where they get that they are not loud... in my opinion they are awsome... i would recommend them to everyone...

These subs do okay if u wanna keep it low wattage and do not really listen 2 anything with tones below 27Hz! Go better on kicker the CVR's if u wanna spend your money right!!!

They Hit Hard, And Sound Good Doing It.

I have two of these in a dual ported box with a Power Acoustik TS620-2 powering them. Rattles my car like crazy, these subwoofers hit very hard, but also have Great sound quality even at high levels. These will not disappoint you. They're a steal.

Great Value

These subs bump pretty hard for their price. I have 2 of these hooked up to a 1000 watt kenwood amp and they push some serious power. Although would highly recommend the 12" CompVR CVR124 if your willing to spend twice the money you pay for these for some really serious bass. But you get what you pay for. Overall its a good product for someone who wants a basic system with crisp lows. 4 Stars.

Great Sub

I have one 12" 4ohm Kicker Comp in my car, in a 2 cubic foot ported enclosure. It hits really hard, and still sounds good.

Would highly recommend, especially for the cheap price that sonic electronix sells them for.

this sub is not good. i had running off a boss riot 850watts class d amplifier i massed them up in a week.the wire connected to this sub comes of and i had to weld it to fix it paid 100bux for the pair new it waz worth it while workin

great price! great subs. great brand. will get loud. if you want some serious thumping, get 4 of these, although 2 would be good. $160 for 4 excellent subs. highly recommend kicker

great sub for any vehicle

I had two of these subs hooked up to a sony amp ( 200x2 rms) in a sealed box and they sounded better than 2 alpine S series (same size). I would recommend for anyone who loves "kick-in-the-chest" bass and doesn't want to break the bank.

i own 2 of these they sound really good i was at my friends house and i was shaking the spoons ans forks off the table and his mom was laughing so i would buy these if you have a low budget

one bad kicker

yeah this sub hits hard poeple tell me to turn it down beacuse it is to loud i have 4 of these in my g6 only thing in the truck.

Great Cheap Sub

This subwoofer is just great. It has solid bass and clarity. For the cheap price, this is a steal. I have it powered by an 600 watt amplifier and it produces plenty enough of bass with just one subwoofer. A great buy, if your on a budget.

Kicker Comp

One of my friends has two of these. For the money you get overall good sound quality. Right now you can get two for 89.99. That's a good deal for the sound quality.

LOUD SUBS

MY COUSIN HAS TWO OF THESE WITH A 1200 WATT AMP AND THEY HIT HARD AND LOUD JUST THAT WHEN YOU TTURN UP THE VOLUME ON THE STEREO THEY DISTORT BUT GOOD FOR 70 BUCKS AND IF YOU WANT BASS GET THE CVRS I HAVE THOSE AND THEY BANG SO HARD.

FOr the money this sub is the best one out there. i installed this sub on a very small alpine amp and it POUNDED. if your looking for a nice sub for not a lot of money this is the one for you.

Best Subs On Budget

If your on a budget and you want to be heard get these. Great for a beginner. I get so many heads turning with these its crazy. I already had someone tell me that I was shaking there side mirrors from behind them.

Bang for the Buck

I put 2 of these kickers in my g/fs car, they sound excellent very true bass response, they dont color the sound like some subs seem to do and they are very clean sounding with almost 400 watts rms pushing the pair, so they are very durable. Great bang for the Buck no other way to say it.

i have 4 of these in my '93 ford thunderbird i was pushing them with the rms pwr of 150 watts each, and it sounded great. but i bought my friends amp and added it in, now i have one amp for two subs, they play amazingly well at 300 watts each twice the rms power! i cant seem to overload the subs, but i do overload my amps and they cut out from time to time, but when the amps come back the subs are there waiting with a mean grin on their face p.s. their over 1 year old GREAT BUY!!!!! DON'T PASS THEM UP!!!

definetly an awesome sub for the price, you wont believe how hard they hit. I have them hooked up to a kenwood 800 watt amp and it hits hard in the back of my jeep wrangler. RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE WITH A TIGHT BUDGET, AND CANT BEAT THE FREE SHIPPING OFFER 2!!

Good for the price

I bought these and built a tuned box at 36Hz...put a kicker amp onto them and let them pound...and if you put everything together right they do hit...i sold them to a buddy for 200 incl. the box...they alright if you are on a budget or just new to car audio...

Kicker 05C124

I have 2 of these in a bandpass box and they hit hard! I can feel my hair shake soo hard when I turn it up. I was thinking about upgrading until I bought a new amp for it. Now it hits super hard and there is no distortion or anything! I've tried to blow them but still no luck. I guess that's a good thing. Shows how durable they are. These are great for the price too!

these are great

these subs are excellent for the value i had one in a sealed box and it rattled my house pictures off the wall literally and all i had was 300 watts going to it!!! but the SQ is a little bit on the negative side. at least for me it is

great subs

these subs are awsome for someone on a tight budget or is new to car audio. I also had mine in my jeep wrangler and they hit very hard considering that they are only $90.00 shipped. If you are just starting with car audio these are great subs to get started with.

Kicker 12's

I wasn't sure about these speakers but tthe hit harder than my friends 2500 watt audiobahn 15" these are deffinetly a great speaker especially in a ported box and a great amp is the audiobahn 80002T 2-channel and bridge the speakers you will ahve an amazing sound for these subs!!

wow!!

I got 2 of this in a ported box and hooked up to a 1600watt legacy amp and let me tell you it bumps..my rearview mirror rattled like crazy its a good bang for your buck i definitly recommend this subs

Not bad..

I bought these subs while back. I had 2 in a sealed box hooked up to a 1200w Sony Amp. They handled the amp very well, though keep pushing and I began to hear some distortion, which is normal. Keeping the subs within the range the sound is great. Pretty loud for 150w RMS.
Even though the price really isn't spectacular or anything, just know that your getting kicker quality when buying these subs.

Great Subs For A Budget

These subs play good, they hit very hard for how cheap they are, they also got good sound quality, i used to have 2 pioneer 12's then i got 2 of these and you can tell a big difference in sound quality and loudness, they are perfect subs for someone that cant afford to put a lot of money into their stereo system.
