Insane!

My friend has 2 of these in a ported box, and all i can say is wow! he has a precision power amp maxing each speaker out with 750w rms in each. When he turns it up his car vibrates as if it is going to fall apart. He is hitting past 150 db, i dont know exactly though. Only problem is it costs alot but definitely worth the money if you have it.

This thing is bad!

This was my second subwoofer, my first being a dual 10" Visonik piece of junk. When i first saw this subwoofer the first thing i noticed was how monstrously large it was. The first thing I noticed about it when I hooked it up was "That's as loud as it gets?", but then I turned the gain up on my amp(oops). Then I was blow away by the amazing SQ it had to compliment the massive SPL. Overall I gave it a 4 out of 5 because, there are better things out there. However most likely not as cheap, which is why I gave it a 5 on value(even though I paid 300 for it). I love the look of the cone and the red center. Seems to be very rigid and sturdy. Features seem to be numerous and useful. Ease of use is only a 3 because of the size box you need to allow it to preform at its best, for me it was a custom built 6.0 cu ft ported box tuned to 30Hz.

If you got the BOX and ROOM

i bought one of these and made a sealed box w/ 3.5 cubic air space and the sub wasn't that impressing then i went on to find out the sub was frying and smelt bad. Only running 500 quality JL watts to it. Better use a big ported box to get the bass you want out of these and better watch out for over powering them. If you don't have much room get the MTX 7500 sub it pounds or if you have the money JL Audio 10w7 in a vented box, only requires 1.75 cubic air space.
