whoa!!!!

I have 2 of these in a subzone pre-fab box abd boy do they slam. in a custom box these thing do damage!!!

I purchased them just for a little thump until I could get a set of L7's or a solo-x, but I got way more than what I expected. they handle whatever thrown at them with ease.

I'm very pleased with the performance of these woofers and cant wait to upgrade to some even better kickers.

yes

i have this in my toyota 4runner ...just one, hooked up to a 1200 watt amp and man this is the hardest hitting one speaker i have ever heard, all my friends cant believe i have only one sub back there...truthfully is one of the best subs out there...but i heard that the L7 hits alot harder then this L5..so if u want really hard get the L7 but this L5 wont let u down i promise

Brandon, Bloomington IN

These subs flex my trunk, i have 2 of these in my Cadillac and my friends say they hear me from a mile away. I have these hooked up 2 a lanzar mxa252 and i would've never expected this much bass from an inexpensive system. The subs came in there original boxes and were brand new. sonic electronix provides by far the most professional and inexpensive way to buy these subs

L5 12" silver sub

Hits so hard I don't understand how 1 12" can pump out so much bass.. Someone please tell me why the square speakers don't rule the planet?

Great Subs

This is by far one of the best subwoofers ive ever owned/heard. It will truly give you the bang for your buck. If you buy one of these make sure you give it around 10 hours of smooth playing to break it in or it will blow. You only want to push out 750 watts with one of Kicker's amps to power this baby

Nice Sounding Bass!

I bought this a couple months ago and I'm really surprised on how well this works! I have it in a full size bronco. (which it is really hard to get good sound from a big truck) It's in a factory ported box and it actually works well for how small it is, along with a audio htc 1500 I'm pushing 1400 watts to it and it handles everything i throw at it! never distorts Just keeps POUNDING!!! It's better than the audiobahn external and the ultra excursian. Would buy one again for the price for what you get can't beat it. It would REALLY POUND in a smaller car! Can't wait to put it in my sunfire.

pretty nice

these subwoofers impressed me they get pretty loud especially with the right amp my friend has a pair. THey get really sloppy on fast beats though it cant keep up at all. but overall are excellent subs especially for the price.

Cant beat it for the price

I have tested out a bunch of subs in the $100-150 and this blows the rest away. Alpine type r has nothing on this sub. Nothing else will hit as hard for this price period. Just one in a ported box shakes my whole car. Get it for serious deep bass just make sure you put alot of power to it and wire the voice coils correctly

These Bump!

These Bump! They are loud and have great sound quality. They are square so that equals more cone. They produce some serious air. Great for ported boxes.

pretty good sub

I just purchased this sub threw this website and let me tell you this is the cheapest website i've found and the sub arrived in perfect condition perfectly packaged. The sub is a little overpriced but extremely durable and loud. with the right amp and box this will blow any other single 12 out of the water except for the L7. great sub not so cheap but great buy

Impressing..................

I was at a bigger cities local store and testing these speakers out and the guy came over from the install garage and asked us to turn them down b 4 we got management on us about it.

Love the bass compared to the round subs. As put on the lil show that they have on another kicker sub, square equalz more cone space to move more air!!!!

Would recommend these or if you wanna get with it go the L7!!!!!!!!!

Intense, as expected....

Holy crap these are loud! With 2 L5's in a sealed bow with a 1000x1 class D amp, you can lift the dust from your seats into a visible cloud in the air. You can feel air currents moving aruond your body. You feel your hair flap in the wind. You can't see out of the rear view mirror, ever.

The down side is that the midbass is very flat as the frequency response rolls off, and even with 6.5" midbass speakers, there is a big gap around 100hz. Oh well, I don't like the way 100hz sounds anyways. I want my bass from 30-80 hz. With sealed box and lots of power, 30-80 hz is very tight (low Q factor) and very loud.

Worth it!

These subs get very very loud, brutally loud in a ported enclosure. Mine are in 3.25 cubic feet each, and they slam, and I haven't even taken them as far as they can go. At a more normal level of bass, they surprised me with their SQ, and have very rich, full, soft bass.

I love square sub

I have this sub and put it in 45 litere sealed box.in this box has a normal , accurate and controled bass and vibration and suitable for daily use to listen music.i changed box to the 70 litere ported with 36 Hz tune frequence.in a ported boxe, vibration and sound volum is very powerful.
this is the flexible sub in sound and in a ported and sealed box have very nice sound.
