This subs are CRAZY!!!!
I had two of these bad boys powered by my flux capacitator and let me tell you..they are CRAZY LOUD! They are soo loud that when I as parked next to this guy at a stop light, I turned up the bass about half way he looked over and puked because of how intense the SPL was. I sat in my drive way and was trying tune my bass, turned it up bit and what I didn't realize was that the bass waves were so strong that it cracked the foundation of my house. Lastly, I once had one of these on my boat and when I turned it up, the sub created tremors so intense, it killed all of the fish in the lake. Dinner was easy that night...I suggest these subs to anyone..but beware these subs contain LOTS of DB's

loud
I just bought this on SE for $225. At that price, I dont think I could have got a louder 12. I had never had a single 12" sub rattle my eyes around until this thing came along. highly recommended

OK SO i wanted to build my own system an thought y not do it with the best name brand subs an speakers KICKER! so i ordered a pair of 06 L7's 12" an man did they hit hard, only thing is kicker subs are not meant for long periods of loudness as i found out with these 06's the dual voice coil melted on both, an i was even using kicker ZX1000.1's to run each one individually, but kicker sticks to their word on replacing their products i sent them the melted ones in the original packaging as stated to do when warranting them and within 2 weeks they gave me brand new 2008 L7 model 12" subs, so i payed dirt cheap for older speakers an came out on top when kicker sent the new ones, HAHA i got real lucky, but now that the 08's are in they have held up so far but they have only been in for maybe 2 months an im starting to smell the familiar smell of what the 06 subs did, my recommendation is do ur research an find which subs will last longest an what certain range of bass u want research is the key, i honestly dont recommend these subs unless their gonna be in a show car where ur hardly using them cause they just over heat to quickly....

Ok i built a custom box for my jeep wrangler...
ripped out the back seat and replaced it with this monster box from two and a half sheets of 3/4" mdf.
You can still sit on the thing and it houses two of these beasts. 3.5 cu.in. per sub with a 14x24x4 port on each that only goes into the box 6". And you sit on the port.
I have a useless boss gt1080 and its barely doing like 200 rms each.
I hit 134.7 db at 35hz!!!!!!!!!!(and i have the soft top)
so im looking foreward to gettin 2000 rms to these guys.
but these definately are worth it they are very clear and they actually start to hurt your ears before they are visibly moving.
Oh and the mudd wipes right off ;)

12's
I would highly recommend this subwoofer because you get the biggest bang for the buck. I have not had any problems with it at all since I bought it. It provides great bass that will be sure to turn heads wherever you go. You can't go wrong with the 12" Kicker L7.

Rock solid sub
This is the first kicker sub that I have owned and I've got to say, I am impressed.
I have mine paired with a ZX750 in 3 cubes at 33Hz (custom) and it gets loud...real loud. I can get about an inch of flex in my back windshield and rear doors windows. It will also put out a lighter flame that is lit in the driver's seat (box is rear facing in the trunk with the seats down).
These things are solid too. I dropped mine off of my table saw when I was building the box. I was worried that it would not play anymore but when I got it in, it fired right up and is still pounding away today.

THIS IS AMAZING
I HAVE TWO OF THESE NOW HOOKED UP TO A OLD SCHOOL DIRECTED 1100D IN A SLOT PORTED BOX AND IN THE REAR OF A LARGE SUV AND THESE SUBS SLAM AND SLAM HARD AND SOUND GOOD DOING IT... I LISTEN MAINLY TO HIP-HOP THATS WHERE THEY STAND OUT, AND NOW AND THEN A LITTLE ROCK AND THEY DO DECENT THERE AS WELL... BUT THEY SEEM TO LOVE THE LOWER BASS NOTES!! IF YOU WANT SUBWOOFERS THAT CAN TAKE A BEATING AND KEEP ON GOING THAN THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOUR LOOKING. REMEMBER THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I PROMISE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Kicker is the real deal!!!!
I have 4 of these in a sealed box. 1 pair wired to two Brutus 2006D Amp running at 1Ohm including a Kicker KX3. Gain is halfway on both and bass is all the way up on both, including th knobs. I play a lot of down south rap so my bass hits at a low frequency. Anyways, I decided to play Young Jeezy and Akon- Soul Survivor. My volume was at about 6 on my Pioneer P680. The bass was ridiculous. My chest was hurting, my ears popping. So I got out the car and turned my volume to 17. Crack!!! My rear windshield cracked first, then fell out from the rest of the bass. My setup is in a 95 Caprice. You want some serious bass, grab these subs with a 1-Ohm stable amp and you are good to go. Hope you have extra money for the tickets you'll get and the damage you'll do to your car. Kicker forever!!!

AWSOME
I have had this installed in my Blazer for almost a month now and I have never herd any system that comes even close. I have a single 12" in a slotted 2.8 cubic foot enclosure. Powered by a ZX750.1. This sub pounds so hard. I have never had so much flex in my body. The rear window flexes almost .75" out. I recently blew by buddy’s Monte Carlo out of the water with his 3 10" MTX and 2000W Audiobahn amp he wasn’t able to touch the capabilities of my set up. This sub sounds great and has a lot of potential. As long as you are sure to break in the sub properly you will have no problem setting off every car alarm within earshot.

Best Subs
I have 2 of these each hooked up to a Kicker Zx750.1 and they hit soo hard. They pick up the lows better than most subs out there, they may struggle a little on the highs but I can live with that. With them all the way up, you can hear them miles away, and when you get in the car with them, ears start poppin and chest hurts sometimes. These subs are amazing, if you want the best go square!!!
