Great Power amp

I love this amp. First of all the price is great. The amp may say 500 but you get way more wattage than that. My amp is the older model so I got it at a great price,. But kicker and sonic still stand by the product. If you are looking for a great compact amp for your needs get the Kicker.

Good Product

This amp is powerful and makes my 10" alpine subs sound very good. The bad news is the amp is supposed to have an automatic turn on feature that turns the amp on without having to use a remote turn on wire. This was one of the reasons I bought this particular amp because I didn't want to have to pull my head unit back out to hook up the remote turn on wire. While the amp works good the automatic turn on feature did not work. I had to pull head unit to run wire anyway. I can not give it 5 stars for this reason.

Straight thunder!

Kicker nailed it with this amp! It will put almost any 750 watt amp on the market to shame. I blew 4 subs that were rated for 600 watts rms!! I finally forked over the 450 for a 1200 watt memphis 12 and its absolutely perfect. Take my advice, get a much higher rated sub for this beast!

Great AMP!

Kicker amps are the best. Underrated pushing 500+ watts. Paired with Earthquake Sound DBXI-12D - this thing slaps. Had for about a year, still working like brand new.

Good clarity and power for a 500. I use it to power a single shallow mount kicker 10 and running 70% gain it hits hard without any distortion. Overall have always been pleased with Kicker amps.

amazing product

Used this amp with a cvr 15 in a regular cab Chevy truck. The best feature about this amplifier is the compact size for under rated power. Birth sheet showed 723 rms at 2 ohms. Use the auto sensing for new radios and you've got a perfect factory add on.

Great Deal

Great deal on a great product. Using to power 12 " Kicker CVT in reg cab Dodge pick up. Delivery was fast and price was great. Very happy with my purchase. I would definitely continue to do business and make more Kicker purchases from Sonic Electronix.

I love this amp!!!!!

I have the amp pushing 2 kicker 10s in my F150 SuperCrew and they sound nice! I have the gain adjusted about 1/3 of the way up and my truck knocks. I would definitely suggest purchasing this amp. This was my first time using Sonicelectronix and I have told all of my friends about them. I received all of my products in a timely manner and the price was about half of what I could find in any of the local shops. No problems at all with any of my purchases.

Nice fit

I'm using this to power two 8" L7's. Fits right where I wanted it in a small 3 series BMW and pumps out enough clear sound to keep me cruisin for days!

Kicker 08ZX500.1

This is a really nice small amp with plenty of power and minimal space required. Not too many features though but it's a definite buy.

Great product

i have 2 kickers cvrs ehh one of this amps at 2 ohms will give it full power so technically its not giving full power to both i have 2 of them at 4 ohms in a kicker box :) amps a ehh half way but GREAT product even for it not getting full power im 17 installed this all my self. it broke the seal off my back window :-P aha mad strong i got this and another 4 channel amps sounds great and with the bass control in the front very unique i love that. recommend 5 of 5 stars and!!!! i went to a couple places where i lived they wanted 499$ for a KICER 08ZX400.1 i told him nvm i don't want it he goes "why" i said i bought a 500.1 and he goes you should of got the 400.1 its close to the same power and alot cheaper ( they got it for 599$ terrible pricing i told him nope hes like you bought urs used for that price ? im like nope. where did you get it. im like figure it out your prices suck i go online! :) and he was pissed and left ahah ( but sorry for this long review. but this product is great i got a couple funny story's about the remote wire. when it wasn't hooked up it was working i was like ?? but i figured out u didn't need one with this. which is excellent for some radios :-P

Great AMP!

This amp sounds great and doesn't mind being pushed to it limits. I guess you could say it has no limits.

Excellent Amp!

I would definitely recommend this amp if you are looking for powerful, yet crisp and clear bass. I have this pushing one MTX 4512-04 sub (12" / 4 ohms) and it does it with ease. I only have the gain up a little less than half-way with no additional bass boost and it pounds EXTREMELY hard, but, like I mentioned above, it is also super crisp and clear - no distortion.

By far, one of the best amps I have ever owned.

Fantastic Amp

I bought this amp almost 2 years ago and it's still going great!! Before I bought my entire set up (this amp, a 12inch Kicker Solobaric L5, an Eclipse headunit, 4 Pioneer speakers, the wood to build my box, and the proper wiring) I spent literally 2 months looking at, asking about, and learning about all of the options the car audio world has to offer and then trying to figure out which products would work well for me. And I didn't want to spend over 700 dollars. I was looking for an amp that pushed between 500 and 600 watts RMS. I ended up choosing this one thinking I would get 500. I was wrong though. It's birthsheet rated it at 609. which made it a perfect match for my L5. And its been pushing that thing this whole time without any problems. I play it loud almost every single day all year long and I've never had a single issue with it. Just make sure you know how to set your gain correctly so you don't clip it. It would be a shame if you broke this great piece of equipment. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially if they're getting it from Sonic, because the price of it on this site is absolutely the lowest you'll find. Except maybe on the streets, but you wont get customer support or a warranty there though haha

Durable

My dad bought this amp 2 years ago and ever since hes had it hooked up to 2 500 watt 12in Audiobahn woofers in a ported box in his 98 M Eclipse and it makes them hit hard. This amp has lasted 2 years and its still working perfectly.

Great Price for a Great Amp

This amp works flawlessly well with a JL Audio w3 woofer. The amp came with its own certificate that proved its rating at 593 watts! Thats almost 100 extra watts for free!

Also bought a qualifying kicker wiring kit and got an extra year of warranty coverage.

Gotta love kicker.

AMazing amp

i have a 05 kicker L5 and this powers it with no problem, and it sounded amazing inside my explorer, i would recommend kicker products to anyone.

Great Amp

I was originally going to get a 700 watt JBL Mono block amp but this amp became available and works perfectly with my 12" Kicker L5.

It is louder than my 2x12" Alpine E's were, with this single 12"

awesome amp

I have had this amp for about three months running of a Sony CDX-GT340 head unit pushing two 10 inch kicker comps in a custom box behind the rear seats in a ford supercrew and they slam pretty hard. I have it set at 80 Hz, 1/3 gain and no bass boost and can run it at 75% of the volume for about 1 hour and it wont even get hot or run the battery down. If you are looking for a dependable amp this is the one and only. Only problem I have is that my two teen daughters love the sound so much that now they drive my truck to school every day and I guess I will never get it back.

Nice power

I have this amp paired with a kicker 15" cvr and its a great marriage. Its ran in parallel and gives me all the juice I need, great amp and the bass control remote is a smart feature.

this amp is good i have 2 ten inch woofers and the sound is great i would advise any body to buy this amp
