Very nice wire.

I like kicker products and their wire is excellent. It is thicker than normal 8 gauge wire and is the most flexible wire I have used. I needed it to add an extra amp to the back and it did the job perfectly.

Good, flexible wire.

Well, it's Kicker wiring which already has a great reputation for being true-to-gauge and being very flexible. I've used tons of power cables and Kicker is usually towards the top if not the best. I use Kicker's 0-gauge wire for my power wire and Kicker's 8-gauge wire for my speaker wire.

A few things to point out are:

1) This cable is true-to-gauge. A lot of other cheaper brands such as Absolute, Xscorpion, Tsunami, etc. make cables that have less wire strands, more shielding, or both to give the appearance of a quality cable. All Kicker cables meet or exceed the AWG (American Wire Gauge) standards.

2) This cable uses 100% silver-tinned OFC (oxygen-free copper). Other cheaper brands use CCA (copper-clad aluminum) because it's cheaper to make since it's roughly 80% aluminum. For those who don't know, copper has a much higher conductivity rate than aluminum. Aluminum's conductivity rate is 36.9 Siemens/m while copper's is 58.5 Siemens/m and silver's is 62.1 Siemens/m. This means that copper is 58.5% more conductive than aluminum and silver is 68.3% more conductive than aluminum. With the wire being more conductive, you are able to pass more amperes through it with less resistance.

3) This cable has an extremely flexible outer jacket made from a PVC composite that allows it to be installed in tight areas. Other cheaper brands use much thicker outer jackets made of plastic without many plasticizers. This makes the cable much harder to bend and cheaper to make.

Remember that with Kicker, you're paying for quality. For anyone that needs to pass high currents, needs to install the wire in a tight area, or just wants the best wire around, any Kicker cables are the way to go.

Great wire

Some of the best wire out there. Very flexable and easy to work with. Jacket is thick but still very flexable.
