Its perfect
I bought this sub with my friends saying "oh its a comp, its cheap, its not that great" yeah no. Nobody said a word when they heard it. If you want a nice sub with more than enough kick- get this one. I bought it with the box that is suggested. The box is perfect for it, closed is the way to go.

Good Bass, Great Sound
The C12D4 from Kicker is a 12" dual coil subwoofer. It can be used for low frequency enhancement in in car sound systems when paired with an amp and mid-range speakers.
The Kicker C12D4 brings out the punch in all my music. I've had other 12" speakers in my car and never really got the punch I'm getting from the Kickers. Even at low volume, you can still feel the punch in the music and the kick drum still sounds in your face. It really sounds balanced and natural. In addition, they look great too!

Honestly a GREAT deal no BS
I bought these subs about 3 months ago ever since I hooked them up in my slot ported box, they have made me proud. I have them in an Impala. The price is cheap but the subs arent.. its just a bundle deal. I wouldnt trade them for the world ! There arent any cons so far out of my system.
