Better than I thought

To begin I've owned all different types and brands of subwoofers in different vehicles. Anything from 15" subs to 8" subs. Also loved the old bazooka tubes because of the concept of small, self powered convenience. I took measurements of my secondary driver ('86 S10) and realized that Kicker made this product which was perfect size. I was only looking for small bass to fill out the bottom end of my sound and was pleasantly surprised at how much bass this setup actually puts out. I would recommend this product to anyone on the fence. Great system with easy installation and quality output.

Best bang for the buck

Ive had multiple systems over the years, and i have to say by far this sub has to be the most amazing. Now if you're looking for something thats going to shake your neighbors windows as you drive by then no, this sub is not what you're looking for. If you are looking for a sub that is going to enhance the lower end, give you some bump to your music, and is easy to instal then yes.. this is for you. The built in amp is very powerful *i have a hatchback and had to turn down the gain to 25% with no bass boost* because it was overpowering my mids/highs (2 alpine 6.5 comp's and 2 alpine 6.5 coax's with 300wts).
This was also very easy to install, took 30min total. Sound is clear and powerful, very little distortion at maxed out settings, takes up very little room, very easy to tune/balance with the rest of my stereo. Honestly for the price it can't be beat.

GREAT bass addition

I purchased the 11PT8 after researching multiple all in one bass units for my 98 integra. This unit added just what I was looking for to my upgraded stereo system. At almost 60 years old I was not looking for car shaking bass but something that would fill in what was lacking from my Boston Acoustics 6 1/2" speakers. This is a nice self contained 8" bass unit that fit perfectly in the back of the Integra and still left me with plenty of room for storage. Now I let it handle the bass response and the BA's do a great job of all the rest. For my installation I did need to extend the positive lead to the battery so be prepared for that if you plan on going to the trunk or hatchback area of the automobile. So far after 6 months of service this has been one heck of a bass unit. I would highly recommend this unit if you are looking for that perfect bass filler to support smaller speakers.

Better than expected.

Was not expecting much for a 100 watt small box 8" sub. I went with locker as they have been good for me in the past. Man, I got much more than I bargained for. Fills in the bottom end very well. I installed under the rear seat in my 2012 f150 crew cab. Perfect fit under the passenger side. Easy install. And works as it should. I just googled the wiring diagram for my vehicle. It's not gonna rattle the windows and Impress guys with solobarics and 1000 watt amps. But it does sound good and I can adjust with the knob if it starts to bottom out.

Kicker 11PT8

This is a good sub for people that want fill-in bass. It won't rattle the windows or wake up the neighbors but it will give you good solid reliable bass at a good price. It was perfect for me.
