I purchased the Kicker 40CTWRT82 (Comp82) 8" subwoofer to replace the stock sub that's in my 1998 Lexus ES300. Should the overall sound quality (Bass) be as great as the purchase/service (Kyle ext 2555) I will have a smile from ear to ear as a satisfied customer. Thank you Sonic Electronix.

Very good sub
This was a replacement for the stock sub that came with my 2002 Suburban. It fit in the factory housing without issue, using sheetrock screws as the factory holes were not an exact match. It was a shallow mount which was what was required, but it doesn't skimp on sound.
The sound (or air movement) is great for an 8 inch, and is more than adequate for anyone not wanting to DJ parties from their car.
I would recommend to anyone in the market for an 8 inch sub.
