It Kicks
Used Kicker to replace a broken down home subwoofer. Shakes the floor, and the shelves, and anything else that's loose in the room.

Kicker Thumps Well
Wishing to create a sub-woofer speaker in an ottoman, I installed the kicker in a small, old wood cabinet, that, when laid horizontally, would fit under the ottoman seat. Kicker works well, adding body to the sound of my home theater.

Really Impressed!
I bought 2 of these for a Double Cab Tacoma. I knew the box was on the smaller side, so I opted for 8" subs instead of 10". They are very smooth sounding, and have a nice "bump" to them as well.
Shipping was quick too! Thanks!

Ummm
Im running two kicker 8s on 125 rms in a 1.25 cube slot port tuned at 35 Hz. Pioneer deck autotek 6.5 components. The 8s are running off a dual amp the 6.5 autotek are running off the deck.
My eq setting are all running at no more then 0 db. no bass at all to my 6.5 autotek. the 8s produce all the sub freqs from 20 Hz to 80 Hz. tuned to 35 hz down to 32 hz they have very deep drop.
Not for a hardcore setup. very nice for a sq setup.

Pow pow
This sub rocks for it's size. It looks good, pretty well made and sounds awesome. Put it in the back of my Legacy and hooked it up to a Pioneer 2 channel 350w amp bridged. This thing sounds as good as more expensive subwoofers out there and is small as well. Shallowish mounting depth allows for tight installation. It won't give you earth shattering bass, but it's great for all of my music from R&B, rock and house. Definitely gets my recommendation.

great sub for what it is
I purchased as a twmporary replacement to a toyota avalon factory JBL subwoofer and it was exact fit(except screw holes) .and sounds good for not having an amp hooked up excwpt for factory. Highly recommend to anyone replacment like I did or just want a small good sub.

kicker 8
Put two of these in my boat. Made a ported enclosure under back seats. They sound nice hooked up to a kicker zr 260. Fish guts have no effect on sound quality.

Supra mkiv
I have a Supra and always looking for ways to keep a functional trunk, its already small enough, these speakers paired up with a Infinity AMP were the best mix to date, great on space and handles the brutal 1200W that my Kappa dishes out. Awesome speakers would recommend to anyone looking for a tight sound especially house and trance music, because of enclosure size no dragging bass but if you have the space up on the size of the subs.

kicker review
I have had this little beast for around a year now and its awesome. Good price with the buy one get one deal. I have my two subs in a 1.5 cu ft box tuned to 40hz and it will make some noise for 8's. I'm using them in my home stereo for just music not really movies or anything and they can get some ok lows.

Good product
I have owned for about 6-10 months now, they sound very good, have good bass for the small size, while still being quite punchy. Seem to be able to handle power well, and seeing as i bought them at such a low price with sonics make an offer option, I have absolutely no complains whatsoever.

Slammin !
These subs are amazing. Get them in the right ported box and they slam. I showed them to a friend and he was shocked when I told him they were 8's cause he thought they were 10's. Definitely a good buy for the price and how good they sound for a little guy!

Good Buy
Good sub for the price if you are only wanting to add just a little extra bass to your system and you do not like to play them loud. I mean they are only a 8" sub can not expect much from them.

nice little subs
I ran 2 of these in an extended cab f150 in a sealed box under the seat. They didnt need much power but they produced bass. I could crank them up and hear them from inside my house, they would make a bottle dance on my roof too. Pretty impressive for little 8's, but it may be partly from the custom box. Everyone thought they sounded great and I had no problems selling them to my friend so I could get 10's. Now he has them in a custom sealed box I made in his ranger and they pound in it too.

Awesome for 8s
I recently purchased 2 10C84s for my Scion xB. Built a small 1.25 cube box with a slot port and power them with a Hifonics TXi4008. This amp, clamped, is pushing around 75watts per sub and they are absolutely wonderful. Last night's show gave me 131.4dB on the dash and 152.3dB at the port on music, not tones, on a TermLab. These 8s can handle a lot of power and have very little distortion when played loud. For anyone on a budget or working with small spaces, give these little guys a try and you'll be happy.

Great replacement for factory
Replaced the sub for my busted up 8" factor in my tahoe. The only way I could replace it in factory location is break the plastic kicker ring around the sub :-( but it fits. Pics up good bass notes. Low cost but reliable.

kicker C84
There is an outstanding sound coming from such a small sub. It completely falls the cab of my 07' Tahoe. Most people can't believe there is only one little 8 inch sub back there. Note you have to put it in a after market box the factory box sucks. Get you one today.

Perfect for home theater system
I bought this to replace a standard 8 inch subwoofer that was blown in my home theater system. For the money, I'm convinced this is the greatest product available. It reaches 150 rms which is great for huge bass drops playing music and fills in explosions and gun shots playing video games such as GTA4 and Call of Duty. Kicker is a good company when you need a lower end product for cheap and the durability is remarkable. All pros, no cons.

Bang for the buck
With limited space in my 2002 Tundra, using proper box volume and amplification, these hit extremely hard. They aren't 10's or 12's, but with no room I'll take what these Kickers can do. The mirrors shake, I can drown out 95% of anyone else's system, and the great part is no one has any idea it's even in my truck.

Very good subwoofer.
Ive owned this in my home theater for 7 months now, and its still kickin'. It has very nice sound quality and it gets loud, very loud for a single 8". Its rated to take 100 watts RMS, but it will take more IF you know what you are doing. I gave it 300 watts without issues, granted its in a rather small box. The specs are .8ft^3 at around 42 hrz, which I built myself. Id make it a little bigger to enhance the low end, but id advise against sealing it. I tried it in 1 cube sealed and I lost a lot of output but the low end was a little better. In movies the explosions are phenomenal. It sounds very good on rock/rap as well.
The only complaints I have is that it tends to get a little muddy at high volumes.

Great value in a car subwoofer
I had to replace the OEM subwoofer in my 2003 Toyotal Avalon. It just wasn't up to the challenge of Smashing Pumpkins and Sound Garden. The Kicker C84 seemed to be the best value for a much higher power subwoofer. Installation was a little tricky since it did not fit the Avalalon frame but i took the advice of others who posted their experience with the same model and I was able to adapt the Kicker by drilling several pilot holes and using small machine screws to attach it to the original frame. It has performed great for over 6 months now. It is tighter than the original subwoofer and stands up to some pretty high volume without breaking up.

Great little sub
I installed one of these in my best friends car in a sealed box and it sounded amazing. We recently built a ported box for it and it's twice as loud. Very tight sounding sub and lots of bang for your buck. I highly recommend getting two of these for some serious tight bass. I ride in his car a few times a week and it always impresses.

Great little sub!
I have an extended cab 1991 chevy (and for those of you who know, they have VERY little space to work with under the rear seat). I'm relatively picky and did not want a sub box just sitting exposed on the floor or on my seat. I was looking for a nicely-priced, smaller sub that had a good reputation, and this little guy fit the bill perfectly. I had to build a funky L-shaped box with a slanted top to fit under my seat without sticking out too far beyond the edge. I lined the box with what was essentially pillow stuffing, carpeted it and stuck the sub in.
What can I say, for being in a undersized box, this thing fills the cab of my truck with nice, deep bass. Obviously it's not going to bump like two twelves, But it plays nice and deep and bumps just as hard as my old 12" Pioneer that I had in my old Suburban!
Bottom line is, if you have limited space to work with and want to add some good base to your music, BUY THIS SUB!!!

Kicker Comp C84 (10C84)
Installed in a 1998 ford expedion in stock subwoofer box and location. Need to make cut out a little bigger and a front baffle so the magnet doesnt hit back of box. Other than that sounds better than stock.

Unorthadox Installment. Crazy result...
I bought a Mirage LF100 home theater sub woofer, second hand for dirt cheap for my home theater set up to work with a dirt cheap 10" JVC sub I was already running. I mostly wanted it for the higher bass, and bought it for the built in crossover the JVC was lacking, all because these little satellite speakers I've been talked into using just don't have any bottom end at all. The specs for the sub amp are:
Peak Power Handling 400 W
Frequency Responses 27 Hz - 120 Hz
Subwoofer Power 100 watt
So I figured I had made out like a bandit...Now I've got two subs!! I plugged it in and the red lights come on, so thats a good sign. I run a dedicated sub cable to it and turn on some music. Green lights. Great! It works!. Start turning up the gain..... Nothing. If I touch the speaker it makes a crackle sound and thats it. A dead speaker. Sad face. That explains why it was so cheap. Grrrr... So now I need an 8", 8 ohm, 100W-400W sub woofer to salvage this thing.
After scouring the internet, there is no such animal as an 8", 8 ohm, sub woofer. So I decided to go with this baby. Boy am I glad I did!! This thing SHAKES THE FLOOR. I didn't think an 8" speaker could do the things this thing does!! I have it mounted right under the couch, and it feels like an earthquake. In the other room, windows are rattling, and the floor is shaking. From OUTSIDE over 40 feet away it even sounds bigger than it is. It THUMPS. DEEP. Could be the box, but the speaker itself is definitely putting out some sound.
Now I know that by halving the ohms Im doubling the power and risking burning up the amp, but I'm willing to take the risk. So the 100W amp is putting out 200W, exactly as this speaker is designed. I'll admit the crossover no longer works properly, the gain is extremely touchy, and took hours to get set correctly, but the result is an 8" speaker that you would easily mistake for a 10" and at some frequencies even a 12" with how it shakes the floor!! Like it seriously shakes the house. So much so I actually noticed a crack forming in the wall by a window.. And noticing that crack, is what prompted me to write this review. An 8" speaker that is capable of literally bringing down the house? Folks gotta know about this!!
In the right size and weight box, and with enough power, one or two of these would be perfect for in the back of a small hatchback, or behind the seat of a pick-up. I am really, really, impressed by how loud, deep, and powerful these little speakers are.
TL;DR:
Bottom line....If you're looking for a good 8" sub, look no further. You've found it!!
