Does not fit factory battery

I got this because I was upgrading the big 3 wiring in my engine compartment to 0 gauge. Unfortunately, this terminal did not fit tightly onto my factory battery posts. You can only tighten the connection a little before it starts running into the other part of the terminal and making an awful grinding sound as well as making it super-hard to tighten more.

I ended up having to add some aluminum foil around the post to fill the gap.

In all fairness, most people buying this would probably also have an aftermarket battery with different posts. But if you have a factory battery like me, be warned it might not fit so well.

Makes Life Easier

Made things easy and looks great. Was probably the easiest thing to install in my system and one of the best. Kicker makes good stuff

Well built and pretty.

I didn't end up using these in my install, but they are well constructed and saving them for the next install.

Installer error doesnt make a product bad

Ive read other reviews for this negative battery terminal but after working with it myself wanted to review it for others out there. This is a quality, well built, and works as advertised negative battery terminal. I have used many negative battery terminals when I ran a car audio shop and would rank the kicker line at the top for budget/value/quality. Not sure what some of the other reviewers are doing with this item but this is the second install with one and both have worked just fine and snugged right up.

Great terminal, a bit expensive

This terminal is compact and serves it's purpose well. I used it for my big 3 upgrade on my Acura Integra. I bought it because it was one of the few terminals that would allow me to shut my hood and still fit (due to the fact that I'm using a tall aftermarket battery). The top cover of the terminal can be removed, and you can also remove the bottom black plastic cover by removing a small black tab on the bottom which reveals two screws. The only complaint I have about this terminal is that it's a bit expensive compared to some other 1/0 terminals.
