Excellent speakers

Bought these to replace the factory front door speakers in my 13 tundra. The speakers themselves are impressive. On the factory head unit, these are loud and clear with no distortion. Installing them was a challenge, had to modify the door panel a bit and use 2 different types of adapters to create one that would get these to fit without getting in the way of the power windows. So if you have a tundra research adapter plates before purchasing 6x9 speakers.

Nice for the highs

Installed these in my 06 Jeep Commander. The factory amplifier mainly uses the front door 6x9s for the lows. They do ok but not great for that purpose. I would choose the factory speakers for bass. However. I changed the head unit to a pioneer and sniped the tweeter lines to run off the head unit while the factory amp runs the lows. Worked out for me. Sounds great. Also have the similar speakers else wear in the truck.

Rear deck speakers

These were great for my rear 6x9s. I thought they fit the front door 6x9s as well but they don't. I ended up hammering the original speakers out of their bracket and used that. Combining these with the npx silicon buffels made screwing them in difficult but was able to do it with a wrench and more time.

The speakers are great. After I adjusted the EQ I changed my opinion .These are full range speakers. The bass from them is great!
They fit perfectly. Now I just need sound damping to stop my doors from rattling. (That's a good thing.)
