Excellent speakers

Bought these to replace the factory front door speakers in my 13 tundra. The speakers themselves are impressive. On the factory head unit, these are loud and clear with no distortion. Installing them was a challenge, had to modify the door panel a bit and use 2 different types of adapters to create one that would get these to fit without getting in the way of the power windows. So if you have a tundra research adapter plates before purchasing 6x9 speakers.

Nice for the highs

Installed these in my 06 Jeep Commander. The factory amplifier mainly uses the front door 6x9s for the lows. They do ok but not great for that purpose. I would choose the factory speakers for bass. However. I changed the head unit to a pioneer and sniped the tweeter lines to run off the head unit while the factory amp runs the lows. Worked out for me. Sounds great. Also have the similar speakers else wear in the truck.

One of these just gave up the ghost. The tweets kept working. But, that was it. Sounded great when they worked. Didn't get much use (on a motorcycle). But, distortion coulda killed it. Hard to tell at 80 mph with straight pipes when they are behind you in saddlebag lids. Currently, running off of the new NVX 150w x 2ch. amp that's a little bit bigger than a dollar bill. That sweet little amp is actually going on a bicycle (STOOPID LOUD!!!!).

Still going....

I have 2 of these Kickers in separate 6x9 enclosures with 100 watts RMS on each. They are clear and strong. I have (2) 12" Rockford P3 series. These sound really good side by side. The low booms of course drown the Kickers out sometimes. This is just going to happen with Hip Hop bass. I am very well pleased with the Kickers. If they were to die today, I would buy some more.

Love these 6x9's

I bought & installed these after reviewing & listening to (what seemed like hundreds of other)speakers about (2) months ago. I have paired them with some kicker 6x5's (alpine x-a70 amp) in the rear, & some 12" subs (alpine mvr-500), in the trunk (w/ dampening matting & baffles)....& my God the whole thang in one word.....THUMPS! Kicker has done an AMAZING job....once again Sonic you have made this customer SATISFIED. (even had the nerve to arrive early). GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK. I will definitely recommend these to my Brother & friends.

Excellent Sound vs Stock Speakers

2012 Nissan Rogue- Awesome speakers and work nice with the stock stereo no loss in volume (actually an increase). Bit snug fit in door but made it work only 2 out of 4 screws align so you have to drill holes to make it fit. Overall brought a whole new life to my sound system.

The speakers are great. After I adjusted the EQ I changed my opinion .These are full range speakers. The bass from them is great!
They fit perfectly. Now I just need sound damping to stop my doors from rattling. (That's a good thing.)
