I switchted from three 10" JLs to one of these but it was the square series but none the less same sub and it hit hard and clean. I do recommend them to everyone who wants tight bass at an affordable price. You wont be dissapionted pros they look cool and are very reliable and durable subs had mine at 50rms more at two ohm and all my friends couldnt belive i just had one and behind the seats it sounded that good. Ported is the only way to go. Go ported or go home. Pros they look cool and are very reliable and durable subs.

Great sub!

I have an 02 F150 and my box fits underneath the back seat. Finding a sub that was shallow enough to fit in there, but sounded good and hit hard was a challenge but this sub is it. This things sounds amazing and its only been used for 2 days getting about 150W RMS in a ported box. I can't wait to turn the amp up and break this thing in!

Great Subs

These subs are great. I got a good deal on them and they hit hard. I put them underneath the backseat of my 08' Dodge Ram Quad and I couldn't be more happy with them. They go hard in the paint. Best subs for the price. Hit like 12's.

My second set of new subs!!!

Back in 1997 i bough 2 10" kicker impulse subs in a sealed box. Since then i have had all the brands but have always been willing to buy kicker new. I just replaced 2 db drive dvcs with these. Laugh if you want but i have a kicker impulse ix402 pushing these subs and they hit pretty hard with partial gain. By the way the amp is my first kicker amp from 1997 also and is so underrated it is ridiculous!!!!

Love these

I used to only have one of these in a ported box and it jammed I had it running off of a boss choas 1100 watt amp. Now I have two of these in a sealed 1.0 each chamber box and it sounds amazing. People hear me coming down the street. Mine sounds better than my friends twelves I love these and would recommend these to anyone. Way better than I expected.

Best Set of 10's I ever owned

Best Set of 10's I ever owned. Hit really hard. Recommend Kicker 400 or 1000 mono or Class D.

Nice...

My bro used to own just one of these in a ported enclosure, and it definately didnt sound like just one 10! I have to say, I'm not a big fan of kicker products because of the SQ performance, but these subs will slam in a proper enclosure and with the correct power. Good buy, especially from Sonic!

Nice Sub!

I bought these in the buy one get one set. 1 for me and 1 for a friend. I have it fed buy my Clarion HU through a Power Acoustik CPT1-1500. The amp is a little over powered for the sub but I bought that in case i wanted to upgrade the sub. It is a great sounding sub that hits hard and is really clear. My friend has his going through an Alpine amp and his shakes our warehouse at third volume. It's a great sub and I would recommend it plus it's a great deal with the BOGO if they still have it.

NICE!!

I just changed out my old Pioneer Premier Champion Series 10" woofer for this Kicker...what a huge difference! Tighter, harder hitting bass! I am still running it off of a Pioneer GM-7300M mono amp and plan on changing that out later.

KICKER 07CVR104

Kicker is always putting out great products.
This sub performs well in 'medium-sized' sealed enclosures. Haven't had any problems.

OK Sub

It sounds great. but the wires in the sub break off. this happened to mine twice and you either have to solder them or send it back in for warranty both a pain.

Sounds Great

Overall great value, I tried to go with another brand sub but after being unsatisfied, I came back to Kicker CVR subs. I put one of these in my single cab ranger and it pounds.

Pretty good subs!

I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for about a 7 out of 10 loudness scale. I hooked these subs in a jeep wrangler soft top and they pound pretty hard. They are in a custom sealed box. I have them running on a hitron pro series 1200.2 amplifier. They are great for rock music because they really hit those double bass notes and it sounds like a helicopter coming at me!!

Match this up with the 10" premade long rear slot enclosure and be happy. I couldn't be more impressed with this bargain set up.

Excellent subs!!!

I installed two of these into a custom box that uses the dip in the rear of a Camaro or Firebird for airspace. Hooked to a 600w Rockford Fosgate amp, these things slam. They have zero distortion, even at very loud volume. I highly recommend these subs.

Reliable

Bought from a friend 5 years ago. Premounted in a slim ported box. Behind seats in a single cab ranger. Connected to a RF 600 watt amp. Great for small vehicles and being on a budget. Probably won't win any contests but perfect for everyday use. No complaints.

Awsome subs

Great subs, they knock hard. I'm slapping them with a hitron amp. I have people asking if i'm slapping 12's but they're 10's. That should tell you everything. They work awsome for being 10's no problems.

BOOM!

I had these for a good while before they were stolen out of my 96' Integra...and while I had them, they would thump! I had them @ 400 watts RMS each and in a 2 cubic foot sealed box. Pioneer DEH 7700 head unit. This was LOUD and sounded AWESOME in my Integra! It would show lots of body flex in the doors of the car and could shake windows at the gas station. That is just the show-off portion of these! These also have a very clean, flat response curve and sound beautiful with any music type. (REMEMBER:This was in a sealed box)
Overall, these are fantastic and sound great. I highly recommend them and I really wish mine weren't stolen! I hate thieves!

Awesome deal

these subs have great bass to them. if you match the rms of the subs with the amp, you will get all the bass and more that you could expect from 2 10's. All of my friends know when I'm around because the bass is that good.

Kickers always Kicka$$

Owned these for about 2 years now and they are still "Kicking" 10" is great enough to make your car BOOM, go larger it'll be 2x BOOMER! I like how these have Rubber modlings = last longer/hits harder, I had other foam moldings and overtime they crack.

I bought two

I bought two of the CVR 10 inch and I regret it. They are great subs for a 10 inch, don't get me wrong but their is NO way to make a ten hit like a 12 inch will. The speakers are great sounding and will takes some watts, I have a 1600D hifonics wired to 1ohm on them and they take it all day long, ran them for four months now. The problem is I want a Sub you can feel and the 10 inch can't do it. I am going to buy this same speaker in the 12 inch model.

good sub

Hits all the low notes. With a frequency rating of 20 hz, it gets low and the ideal sub for r & b. In the 07 model the speaker lead wires were poorly made and break off which is a pain in the ass. Kicker fixed that probelm in 08 with running the leads through the spider which is a good up grade. They are very loud and clear. Will reccomend these subs. Would have given a 4 but since they fixed the speaker lead problem; 5 all the way.

Great subs... great price.

Great for all types of music. I got 2 of these a few days ago with a Kenwood 1000 watt max amp running 250 rms x2 channels at 2 ohms. Amp is turned less than half way. I put them to sonic enclosures with .77 air space each. Mounted them where my center console used to be. And they hit pretty hard even breaking them in. Finally pushed them today and every double bass pedal hit hits for metal. I have no complaints for rap they hit hard n sound great. But i am more of a rock person and there perfect for me. Great quality subs i am sure they'll last awhile.

Kicker Review

Well I was recommended this product because they were out of the Alpine 10" speakers. The kicker is awesome if you ohm it out. If not, it doesn't sound as good. But over all, it is an awesome speaker for a 10".

decent sub

It is definitely a nice sub for the price. I am using an eclipse xa1200 pushing around 400 watts to the sub. I then built a sealed box and made it 1.5 cubic feet but it just didn't hit a lot of notes. I then ported the same box with a 2" port and it sounds GREAT!! hits all the right notes. I would recommend this sub to anybody. The problem I have now is that I have always had 12's and I think I might upgrade.

Bought 1...

And for the price, it can't be beat. I have it hooked up to an Eclipse XA2000 and it is awesome. I might step up to a 12" as some people say it's a better sub, but I am very content. It has great response in Rock, and deep lows in Rap. I also love the terminals.

Tough Sub

I like this sub. Its very loud if you have 2 of them hooked up but i used to roll around the block with just one and i turned heads. That was only with 200 rms to it too. It has lasted me over 2 years and i finally just gave it to a friend. It definitely went through the cold winters just fine. Excellent sub at a great price too.

I use a 800 watt crunch amp on full power and they hit better than some 12's I've heard. so if you want great 10's for not much money get these.

Amazing Subs

I bought 2 kicker CVRs about 6 months ago. I have 20 separate amp running to each sub and these sound amazing. I have the kicker M500s running to each sub. These subs hit very hard and I am very satisfied.

the best ten you will ever hear

I here everyone talking about a 10" won't hitas hard as a 12 and a 12 won't hit hard as a 15 and so on. WRONG, I have 4 of these in a custom ported fiberglass box and two 750.1 kicker mono amps , and I went two state and got in 2nd place in comp. and I was blowing away people that had two 18s but its all about your set up and your box anyway the guy that got 1st in 2009 had 3 15 kicker solo baric L7 and a 20,000 watt kicker amp so it took a person with a 20,000 watt amp to beat me, same name brand tho anyway I hope this helps you decide what you want.

"Kicker type" bass

This subwoofer, along with other Kicker subs, produces loud and deep bass. It does not however produce quality bass. If you're not an audiophile you likely won't know the difference. If you're used to listening to w6's with c5's and then install this, you'll notice the difference.

I think these subs are great for starter systems on a budget. They produce deep/low/loud bass that shake windows, knock pictures off the wall, annoy the neighbors, etc. For most folks, the quality will be sufficient.

Kicker VCR 10"

This sub is great! Sounds good for a 10" cheaper sub and also packs a punch! I would consider getting two if you are the type of person to turn it up a lot. Sub is good at lower volumes alone but once you turn it up enough it starts to distort by itself. Overall great sub for the price! Thinking about getting two 12" of these!
