Kicker Comp VR's are one of my favorites.

The following review is for 10CVR84, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I was an MECP certified installer for 5 years, and have installed hundreds of subwoofer systems on all budgets and of all sizes. I have a handful of favorite products based on my experiences with them and how they sound in different vehicles. I also got to see how much people were spending on their audio systems. I saw people spend tons of cash and wind up with something that sounds like crap, and I've put together low budget setups that sound great. After all this, I chose 3 Kicker Comp VR 8" subwoofers for my regular cab pickup truck. Their prices are good, the rubber surrounds last a long time unlike the foam ones that usually only last a couple years. They sound great when installed in a properly designed enclosure AND GIVEN THE FULL AMOUNT OF POWER they are designed for. A sure way to waste money on subwoofers is to under-power them.

Bottom line, one of the best choices for the money and after seeing just about everything, I choose them for my own car. I am not in any way affiliated with Kicker or Stillwater Designs. I do not recieve any compensation for my comments.

Best 8" around

I just sold my 2 10" vegas in a heavy ported box (too heavy for my car) and borowed this from a future project. This sub sounds great in a bazooka tube but lacked those low notes till i switched my Alpine deck for a JVC. BIG difference! Hits like lows and sounds better than most 10's in this price range. Im runing a Alphasonic 1800 and this thing can take the beating!!! People can't believe I'm runing a 8. It does not distort when I crank it up and it handles much more than there rated at. I'm really impressed with this sub and now thinking Kicker for my next sub.
Ive been an audio fan since 86 and seen, heard owned many brands but after reading reviews and listening for myself what this 8" sub can do I cant wait to step up to a Kicker 12. This is truly the best 8" sub around!!!

Amazing Product by Kicker

I'm using this sub for a home audio application in a ported box. It's running on about 200w rms. I've had it 2 years with no problems. The sound is superb. The lows are tighter than I expected, even at high volumes. If you need an 8" sub you can't go wrong with this one.

Nice!

Damn.! i wasn´t sure to buy this sub because of the small size, but let me tell you this hit harder than 2 or 3 10¨ i heard including a gt5-12 from jbl and a kewood wfc-2509 im running 2 of this at 200rms each and.. DAMN.! highly recommended!!!

AWESOME SUBS

These speakers are some of the best I've had. I have alot of them. They are some great beginner subs, and make some great mids also.

Very Pleased!

I just put 2 of these in a custom box I built for my 2009 Corvette and they sound great! Very clean and tight bass. I was limited on space so the box is approx. 1.05 cu ft total for the 2 subs, which is within the recommended specs. These subs are rated for 200w rms but my amp is bridged to put out 300w at 4 ohms (150 to each sub). I'm sure they'd sound even better with the right amount of power. I'm 33 and have had systems in every car I've owned since I was 17 (i.e., 2-10", 1-12", 2-12", 2-15") and these tiny subs stack up well next to any of them, except for the low, low, notes. But for sound quality, you can't go wrong with these in the right box.
