2 10" Inch Kicker Comp VX's Are no Joke, they are the truth. Get em there worth there weight in Gold!!!

The following review is for 10CVX102, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have two 10" Kicker comp VX's in my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado EXT. Cab LT (the new body style) The Subs are Driven by a Kicker ZX1000x1 Amp. Let me say it was hard finding a box to fit under the back seat finally. So first i bought 2 8" Kicker solo baric L7's and the box I bought was exacty cut for the L7's so when I recieved them, me and my cousin, who installs for a living started to hook everything up. Once it all was hooked up right it sounded very weak unlike what I thought Solo Baric L7's would sound like so I kept playing them and two days later one of the Subs completely seized up, meaning you couldn't even push the cone in and when I unscrewed it from the box smoke came rolling out with that band aid smell. So I contacted Sonicelectronix explained the problem and I said i jist want them exchanged out for the round Kicker Comp. VX's so I had to send both subs back the way Sonic tella you to and someone is suppost to check the subs you sent back out, It was A hassle for a few weeks until I spoke with A Supervisor and got things moving. So I paid the extra money for the Upgrade and then i had to cut a circular hole out of the sub box that already had A 8" square hole in. Wow they pound like no other 10's ive heard with the limited air space I have per side is .80 cf. I'm glad I got those comp vx's they are killer so from now on if u want good sound w/o the subs that cant play higher pitched music stay away from the square subs. Thanks

Sounds great .. Bass is tight and accurate

The following review is for 10CVX102, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

The sub is high quality and looks great. This sub replaced a blown JL 10" the Kicker sounds as good or better then the JL. I AM VERY HAPPY!

Got the speakers in about 4 days everything was in good condition and have had no problems. The speakers have sounded really nice, no problems whatsoever.

Great Subwoofer

The following review is for 10CVX102, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have one of the older models of this sub. All I have the say Kicker had done now wrong on this new model. I think this model is better. My other, I had to send back to Kicker, because the voice coil went bad so I can't wait until I get the other one back. I just have the one in my trunk and it sounds like I have two tens, so I can't wait until I put the other one in. I recommend Kicker to any one. Even though my other one Stopped working. If you buy from Sonic Electronix, they're a Kicker dealer so you get an one year warrenty. I called Kicker and they didn't even try to fight me on it. That was the easy and best custumer service I've had in a long time.

Best 10" subs I've heard

The following review is for 10CVX102, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have 2 of these on a hifonics 2100.1 amp wired to 2 ohm and man do these thing pound. I can feel the bass in the seats of the car beside me. The mirrors are totally useless when you turn the bass up to half. With the windows down and 15' from the house it will vibrate things on the wall I plan to add 2 more soon. I put them in a 2002 crew cab silverado under the back seats, the subs require .8 cf in a sealed box per sub. My box is .9 cf way smaller than the manufacture specs and they sound great. Just needed a small amount of poly fill which made a nice difference. I have busted the box once about 2 weeks after I installed them. Box was built out of 3/4 mdf board with gorilla wood glue caulked inside and out with 1 1/2" screws every so often. These subs would only fit under my seat because I cut the bottom out of the box just enough for the magnet to fit in the hole then sealed it back on the outside.don't hesitate to buy these subs!!!

Great 10's

The following review is for 10CVX102, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I put two of these CVR's in the back of my extended cab s10 matched with a boss 2500w amp. These subs are great, they pick up the lows and sound amazing whether or not they are turned up all the way.

Amazing

I have 2 of these in a 3.5 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 35 hertz running on 1000 watts total. I went from on 12 L7 and didn't loose any output or low end. These subs hit hard and very clean. These sound good on all types of music.

These things are GREAT

My Friend has one of these in the smallest sealed box that one of these things could possibly fit in and he only has 2 Kicker 350.1 amps pushing it in a single cab truck with it placed in the middle of his floor and it has still made the roof on his Chevrolet truck fail, I would have to say that these are some of the best subs Ive ever heard and everybody I know has a system of some sort , They are JL killers especially

Awesome

One of my friends has four of these in a ported box in his toyota fourunner. He redefines beating down the block. You hear him coming before you see him. Not sure how much power he has running them, but its plenty. Great product. highly recommend

Frist Time Kicker

I bought this sub woofer because it was on sale. I know some are going to think that is funny, but the only reason I bought this sub woofer is because I had to return my old one for a failing on me. I have to say that the Kicker Brand is good. My set up is 1200 watt mono PG RDS amp, with Boss Three way crossover. Wiring kit is an Earthquake AK- 5000 watt, RCA cables that are stinger, also have two Capacitors that are Boss, one is 3.5 and the other is 2.0. The head-unit is a Power Acoustic PTID-4005 paired up with 720 watt four channel amp that is a off brand (Ultra Linear) that is running the inside speakers that are Infinity Reference 6.5 in the doors and sony explodes in the dash. The sub is in a wedge box with ploy fill and wired at a four ohm load. It sounds really good, but I'm still in the break in period. It sounds as good or better than MTX. By the way if you was wondering what brand of sub that I had to send back, it was a Phoenix Gold RDS 104 and I loved the sub, but this one is way better when it comes to sound and bass. Customer service at Sonic is the best I have ever come across. When I called and talked Armen, he told me it would work for my set up. I was worried, because I have a 4 ohm set up for a sub and this one is a 2ohm, but he told it would work just fine. He also told me that he runs kicker him self and it's a good brand. He was right. I like Kicker now. Also I have bought most of my set up through Sonic, because there prices are cheaper than the other guys and they will price match too. Bottom Line, Sonic has people working there that know there stuff, so you can't go wrong when it comes to them.
