Great Subs!

The following review is for a previous version (40DCWR122).

I installed these things with a new head unit (Pretty good for a 16 year old who had no previous experience in car audio) in my 07 4runner and let me tell you, when I say they slam, I MEAN THEY SLAM. When I have them running at full 1600rms they make my mirrors useless! They are so clean for a dual ported enclosure imho. My friend has a JL 13w7 and people say mine gets louder and sounds better when its on normal volume. I have them running off a Hifonics ZRX3200.1D Zeus and you can hear them from probably 3/4 a mile away in the city. They are freakin amazing!!! Great buy!!!

Amazing

The following review is for a previous version (40DCWR122).

Running them at 800 watts rms, loud enough to be heard from over 100 yards away. Great quality even at their loudest.

Kicker CompR's ROCK!!

The following review is for a previous version (40DCWR122).

I'm currently playing these subs on a 2300.1 hifonics and let me tell you these subs are beast!!! I currently owned the rockford dual P2 12 and they were good but when i really pressured them they caught a little temperature and scared me. These babies just keep begging for more. If you can swallow a glass a water with these turnt up your good! Honestly the best subs I've ever own and at this price you should have already added it to your cart. Kicker CompR 12 A++. Sonic Electronix Super A+

All Day Knocken.

The following review is for a previous version (40DCWR122).

Kicker stepped their game up on these. Ive had 12" CVR before and now with these Comp R's they are knocken. I only have a 250 watt amp hooked up to them just waiting for the 2000 watt amp to come in to give them 1000 watts and really see what they can do. I will write another post when the new amp is in. Oh yeah Almost got the Alpine Type Rs but KICKERS have always been my Style of Subs.

Living Loud!!!

The following review is for a previous version (40DCWR122).

Here's my setup....Kicker DCWR122, Alpine MRP M1000, Alpine CDA 9825 & Cadence 0 awg wiring kit...Big 3. Sits in the truck of 99 Grand Marquis. Out of the box these subs POUND HARD!!! The enclosure is well made and very heavy. Only putting about 8-900 watts to it. Don't beleive that Alpine M1000 is putting out a true 1000 Watts @14v but I could be wrong. Only had set up for a week so I will get back with u if there is an increase in bass after breakin.
Compared to my other setup... 2 CVX 12 in ported Avalanche midgate enclosure powered with the new Kicker CX1200.1. It slams hard. Those new compr's are close are maybe better. Time will tell.

Powerful subs

The following review is for a previous version (40DCWR122).

These subs were fairly easy to install, I did it all myself with a kicker wiring kit I bought with it as well. Running off a 2400watt amp a really powerful loud setup that is easily able to drown out the speakers

base without loosing space

Yea that's right this box pounds and it doesn't even take up much space in the trunk, so i still have room for groceries etc...

Clean Sound and Powerful Bass!

Paired this dual 12' enclosure comp r's with a 40kx800.1 kicker amp and this thing right out of the package produced noticable cleaner base than my type r. The type R was not in a box speced out for the subwoofer, but i noticed how on pitch the comp r 12's were compared to my other two subwoofers I have owned. Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed how much the bass has been getting lower and louder as the subs break in. The power after the break in period is phenomenal. I don't even turn my knob all the way up cause it will rattle the cars around me as well as my gf. LOl my friends really enjoy the clean sound these subwoofers produce as well.

I would recommend this subwoofer to anyone because it already comes together in a tuned ported box professionally measured so that you're getting optimum power and base accuracy out of these subs. These babies bang extremely hard and I am only one week in. Trying to keep that bass knob down a little so these things have a proper break in, but love them so far and definitely do not need anything louder lol. Was thinking about going with a kx1200.1 one of these days, but not sure I will need it cause these things love 400watts to each sub and take it like a champ. Buy these subs guys! You will not be dissapointed!

Very Satisfied

Okay, so I have had quite a few systems over the years, I can say I've never been more satisfied. Best bang for the buck I've owned. I paired these with the Kicker CXA1200.1 which is another really great product. Very good sound quality and they hit hard. Not the hardest hitting subs I've owned but they are half the cost and not that far off. Thanks Sonic Electronix.

43cwr122 subs

I highly recommend the kicker comp r 12inch subs, they sound amazing, clean, loud and they hit so hard it does take your breath away, I have the kicker cx 1200.1 going to them in the factory enclosure. I was using JLAUDIO 12's for awhile and these put them to shame. Take it from me, go out and purchase these babys, you won't be disappointed.

Decent Subwoofer Package

I will have to say the box was top notch and looks good in my Equinox. The speakers hit fairly hard after about 3-4 weeks of use following my initial break in period. Since they are still new I haven't tried pushing them to the point of failure as I didn't want to permanently damage them. I hope they get a little bit louder, but then again I have a lot of cabin space compared to my previous vehicles. My only complain with the entire package was that I wasn't provided with enough power wire. I had to use about another 2 feet from some leftover wire I had from a previous install.
