Very Pleased with these subs

I have owned too many products over the years to list but my most previous subs were the compact 10" type R Alpine subs. With that being said, I feel like I wasted my money on the type R subs after having these put in my 2008 Ford F150. I do have all type R door speakers, additional tweeters, alpine amp, but have an audiopipe 1800D powering the kicker subs. I will NEVER waste my money again on subs that Kicker compares to at a fraction of the price. I have owned JL audio compact subs, and wouldn't waste my money on them either. These subs shake the truck with no problem and sound good. I am very pleased and for the price, I could add something else to the truck on what I saved from not going with the Alpine type R subs. Alpine is still a great product, but for the price comparison and sound comparison I would get the kicker all day long.

Great for the price

Have these in my 2016 dodge they sound great I'm sure they could use more airspace to hit harder but I'm limited. They sound good for what I have to work with

Bang for the buck

These can handle some very low sub bass, especially when installed in a maximum-allowable enclosure, no larger than 1.2 cu in.
These also sound best when matched up to Kicker amps. I have a Kicker 1200 amp which these subs sound more accurate. I also hooked these up to my AM Bass VFL 1000.1 amp (at 2-ohm total with the pair) & they don't sound as defined.
These exceeded my expectations, thus a five-star rating.
