Rock Solid!

I had a JL Audio ZR and this Kicker 400 Comp up against each other...same box and amp. If you like a lot of boomy bass with a loose woofer get the JL. If your preference is tight punch like a fist to the chest get this Kicker. It's tight and hard hitting. I love it.

Great sub for the money

I got this sub to replace the old factory 8" sub in my wife's 01' Suburban.
It's powered by a pioneer 1000 watt amp, I got the more powerful amp in case I want to add another sub down the road.
The sub does a great job for being only 8 inch, it's in the sealed factory enclosure that's mounted in the left rear kick panel. The sub is tight and provides good bass response for our needs. It isn't going to rattle the windows but sounds really clean, which is what I was looking for.
Craftsmanship on this speaker is top-notch and feels extremely solid.
I'd recommend this sub to anyone who want's a great sub at a fair price.

Great Sub

I bought these to replace the OEM subs in my Shaker 500 in my 2012 Mustang. Very good upgrade. Fitment was spot on.

Hits hard for 8"

I have a 2003 Lincoln aviator with a stock 8 " sub replaced it with this sub and an amp sounds amazing and I didn't have to take up cargo space !!!!

kicker rocks

I have use the kicker products for years and the sound quality is great when pair with suitable amp. I recommend this speaker because of design and longevity of use.
