Oh yeah

I just got 4 of these 15s and cut a hole through the back of my truck this weekend to install a custom box. These things pound. I downgraded from the comp r to maximize my amp. Had 6 10s now 2 10s 4 15s. Gotta kz800.5 and kx1600.1 on the whole truck. This thing kinda shakes my brand new truck a little bit too much at times but I just push the shaken pieces back and watch them fall again lol .

Some harsh bass

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

Kicker is top of the line stuff. It knocked so loud i cracked my windshield. I had an alpine 500 watt amp.

Great speaker, good price

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

This is a great speaker, it hits lows very well. I may a slot ported box, which is huge, and this thing rumbles with 500 watts. I would not recommend this if you are limited on space, but that is really the only draw back.

Explosive Bass for a very Low Price

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

I have two of these subs in a 92 Grand Marquis, and I now have the loudest system in my town! These subs produce a monstrous bass and makes my trunk sound like its going to pop off.

Worth the Money!!!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

This sub is worth way more than the great price you get here. I received mine in brand new condition with no problems at all. This sub is amazing and it hits harder than all my friends subs. This sub def puts out the amount of watts that it says it does. Well WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!

super loud!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

I had 2 of these wired to 2 ohms on my kicker zx 750.1 in a 1.8 cubic foot sealed box each in my 2008 Chevy Malibu and it was the loudest system I've ever had and I've had over twenty different systems.

beasty

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

All i have to say is my buddy put these in a Lumina and with in a week it literally blew hes trunk off it straight ripped the metal holding his trunk hing on so we had to drill holes into the back of his trunk just so we could bolt his trunk down.

Kicker CVRs

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR152).

This is a very reliable subwoofer, you know exactly what you're getting when you buy the kicker brand. It beats hard with the right amplifer and is an alternative to higher prices kicker subwoofers like the L7s or L5s

The following review is for a previous version (10CVR152).

Wouldn't trade my kickers for the world. I have these two 15s in a solabarrick box. In a 99 Chevy Tahoe on a 5500 watt power acoustic stack. And when I say pressurized I mean it Them kickers doing they thang. Good Investment.

great bang for the buck

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR152).

One of the best budget subwoofers i have tested. They work well in port or sealed enclosure. They will take more the rms ratings, i ran mine around 600 daily but ran 800 rms with no problem for about a week. It has similar out put to a type r. I would recomend this subwoofer to anyone who is looking for a good sub with the potental to get loud.

Jordan's Review

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR152).

WOW!!!!! 1 word. This woofer from kicker rocks. I recently purchased 2 of the 15 inch monsters from sonic electronix including a Kicker ZX1000.1 from them. I have them in a 1991 Chevy 1500 on 24's. And i tell you these subs a extremely loud. I made my own box at work which has 4.5 cubic feet on each woofer. I've had my friends tell me they can hear me miles down the road (1 time heard me from at least 6 miles down road) and i shake their walls. Pictures are victims now. My chevy's body panels suck in. I even put a 3 pound weight on top of one each of them for an hour beating the hell out of them and their still playing like StillWater soliders. And for the price you would be a fool not to get 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4 of these woofers. Sonic electronics is the leading premier audio dealer on the internet hands down. P.S. don't even try to go look for a better price somewhere else, your wasting your time (I TRIED!!!) NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!!! JUST BUY IT NOW

Kicker comp vr, durable

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR152).

I bought an old style comp vr about 3 years ago and it is still pounding away. One of the best, most durable subs ive ever owned. The comp vr can really take a beating, ive seen one lit on fire, with a cracked cone and it still works great. of course that one wasnt mine because i dont beat on my subs that bad...good investment though.

WOW

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR152).

I've had two of these in my explorer for over two years, first i had it on an MTX 5601 Thunder amp and it hit hard. I used to blast them for 4 hours straight and they were still pounding away. Then, i got an amp off of a friend, a JBL 1200.1 and a ported box for the subs as well. It hit much harder with a ported box, i remember my friends would hear me from blocks and blocks away pounding them all day. These subs are apparently very durable and the price is amazing. I don't believe you can beat them for the price, they have been used for 2+ years and still take a good beating.

Straight Nasty

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

I would highly suggest to anyone who has a hunger for some massive bass to purchase these subs. They are not the best looking subs but that doesn't matter because they will knock your trunk straight off! As of right now i have both of them on a hifonics 1600 @1100 watts rms, and they POUND.......HARD.

One Of the Best!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

I've been sticking close to 625 rms into both of my cvr's and the coils havent even started to burn. As long as you break them in the will last a long time. Great, powerful, and really underated rms. Buy these

Soooo deeep

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

This is one of the best purchases i have ever made. I've had it for 6 months hooked up to a hifonics hfi1000.1d and it has never blown or overheated, and is louder and deeper than my friend's 2 12" subs. If you want insane power and deep lows this is the sub for you.

hits hard and theey slaaam

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

Got a 15" CVR Kicker 2Ohm sub wired to 4 ohms cuz my amp isnt 1 ohm stable only giving it about 200wrms. You can feel the bass pretty much knock my mirror off never stays straight I always have to move it back up lol. i would recommend this sub to somone on a tight budget and wants some serious bass. I cooked the inside of the sub. There is a big hole in the fibering of the cone and it still works.

Devestating bass!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

I currently have this wired at 1ohm in a vented enclosure and powering it with a Dual XPE1700 mono amp. It sounds like Armageddon inside my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It's way louder than I need it to be, but it's better to have too much than not enough. This is my first Kicker product and I don't think I could have found a better speaker at this price. Highly recommended!

Too Loud!

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

My brother has two of these in his '08 Malibu hooked up to a 750 watt kicker amp running through a stock stereo. The spl is so crazy. His windshield wipers bounce! The trunk is inevitably rattling. You can hear him from half a mile away. These will definitely do the trick if you wanna be the loudest on the block. I personally think its way too loud but he absolutely loves them. Kicker all the way!

SLAP

The following review is for a previous version (07CVR152).

These subs are insane. Car alarms go off ALL the time when I bump these. I have two of them hooked up to a Hifonics TXi6406 (older generation)amp (~1300 Watts). I don't even have to call my friends when I roll up to a spot; they always say, "I'll hear you coming). These things push a ridiculous amount of air. The high notes are decent, could be better, although these subs POUND, especially at the really low notes, and these subs move everything in my Dodge Ram. These 15" CVRs made my window fall off the track, made screws fall out from holding the front turn-signal, made my whole rearview mirror fall off, and got me pulled over many times, including one that included a $180 fine. Buy these if you really want to slap, even when I turn it almost all the way, I'm always amazed at the quality of the low, deep sound.

got both of these for the same price as the 05 models, so i got 2 for 230 bucks which is ridiculous for how serious these subs are. Amazing subs

The following review is for a previous version (05CVR152).

I just got these subs. So far they exceeded my expectation. I was running a alpine type-x before off a alpine MRD-1001 in a trailblazer, and that slammed hard for a single 12, but i wanted more bass so i ordered these and built a 6.4cubic ft. ported box tuned to 36hz.Now everything shakes like no body's business. My hatch door comes out a good 1 inch now. I was a little skeptical on how well they were going to sound but that to exceeded my expectation. They hit every note clearly and with authority. If you want a excellent sub that sounds good, and can put up the numbers then i suggest you don't miss out on these.
