Somewhat disappointing

I have the 6 1/2" speakers from the same series and get much better sound from them. Of course, it could easily be the different vehicle and different head unit, so take that with a grain of salt. Still good, but would have been better at a slightly lower price.

Great replacement speakers for my truck. I upgraded to the kicker ds68's and put a amp on them to improve the sound quality of my truck. The kickers are the same size as the stock ford speakers so no modification on the mounts were needed. Just an easy swap and the sound is much better than stock. I am very happy and would recommend kicker to anyone.

I bought these a month ago installed in my f150 they were easy to install and sound great nice and loud kicker is awesome when it comes to coustomer service and warranty exchange I runs the and my components off of a kicker 4x425 and they handle it very we'll can turn it up to max And it's still clear I have all kicker even sub in my truck I would recommend these and every other kicker produt over any other

I loved how these speakers sounded when I first heard them installed!! I still love them, but there's only one problem....recently about 2 or 3 months ago i've noticed my driver side speaker in the back of my 2000 ford ranger reg. cab xlt was cutting in and out....so i took it out to take a look at it, messed around with it for a minute, then it worked perfect again...then a month or so later, It starts it again...now It's done for...idk how it happened because i don't even play my music that loud and the rms rating seemed like the speaker shouldn't have blown, oh well I guess.

Six months later still great woofers. Ive been underpowering them with a cheap dual amp and they not only can bump in a sealed box, but sound great too.

Decent

I expected better, coming from Kicker, but they are okay. Nothing special, but a little bit better than the standard headphones you may currently have. It's worth the price you can get it for on this website, but not the original pricing.

Great F150 SuperCrew rear door speakers

These blow the stock speakers out of the water without breaking the bank. I recommend powering them with a Kicker amp to get the best sound. No mods necessary to the door. They are a perfect fit.

Good if not Great 5x7's

These speakers are great, I just threw my sub in a new SPL box and these speakers keep up, after I paired them up with the 10$ niobium 1 tweeters they just roar, im serious these speakers scream. Oh yeah im only running them off my mazda 3's stock deck so id assume im only giving it 15-17wrms when it can take up to 35rms normally.

Great bang for the buck

I got these for my single cab Ranger to replace the old "premium" speakers in all four corners. Highs and Mids are crystal clear. Bass is there but it has no punch whatsoever. A Kicker sub fixed that, which I was buying anyways. This is being run right from my Sony head unit, and I couldn't be happier for what it is. At full volume, these things are loud as h*** and have no distortion at all. But if you can afford something a little more expensive (Infinity), go for it. But at 1/3 the price, you can't go wrong. Now I can finally look down on people that crank up their music in they're cars just to hear all of that distortion ;). Really people, get these speakers, you'll be getting as many compliments for the system as I am.

Great speakers!

These are great speakers for the price. They sound really clear and loud off my older Kenwood head unit that I have, although they start to distort around 30 or so. I was expecting more bass from these but they are decent. I made the mistake of buying these to replace the stock 6.5's in the rear deck. They were a pain in the butt to install but they sound amazing compared to the old speakers. I also spent an entire day making cardboard baffles for them, which made the bass a lot more punchy. I am a bit disappointed that they don't come with grills, but they're in the rear deck so i'm not too concerned about punching a hole in them.

Tweeters are bright and clear although a little small for the price. You don't see 1/2" tweeters very often anymore...

Overall I recommend these very much. But if you have the money, definitely go with higher quality speakers that are made with higher quality materials.

These are perfect if you have subs. The hi's and mid's are very clear and the treble sounds good although if your using a ipod and you have the volume to high on the ipod they will distort so find a balance point and they're perfect. I'm running mine using a sony xplod deck so I can't comment on how they sound or how much bass they produce running off a multi channel amp. But, if you have subs and you want clear sound get these. Plus for 50 dollars you can't really go wrong.

I bought these speakers about a year and a half ago or so and they are still running strong, if you blast them you can hear for bout 30 yards away clearly not distorted at all. I loved them and i have 4 in my car. Highly recommended with the low price.

Great Speaker

Bought this to replace blown factory speakers in front on Ford Excursion. Driven by factory radio. Demostrates how superior they are to factory speakers. Crisp clear sound and more volume. Not a lot of bass but they sound great. Plan on replacing the other 4 speakers with these as well.

Kicker 6x8's

I put these in my mazda b-3000 and they rock my nugs to the max. grrreaaat speaks. way better than the old ones.

I have 4 of these in my F150 SuperCrew and it is so loud that my 19 year old neighbor can't stand to sit in my truck with the volume up loud. The speakers are so clear that I can hear every instrument and all vocals of my music over my subs.

Kicker DS680

Good tweeters, did not have the bass that the factory speakers did. I would recommend using with a sub or paying a little more for better speakers.

Exceptional Clarity and Sound Quality

I purchased Kicker DS680 to replace my factory speakers on my Mazda3. With a JVC head the speakers seem to be leaps beyond my factory ones. The are very clear at loud levels and have amazing mids. I have a small bazooka subwoofer to offset the bass and this lets the kickers sing in the mid and high freq range. They might not put enough bass if they are run seperately. The look however seems minimalist, could use some color like the sony xplod red or pioneer blue. Overall an excellent product.

LOUD!!!!

I hooked these up in the rear of my car and I'm powering them with my Pioneer Premier 490IB. I turned it up too max and they didn't distort at all. I'm gonna have to hook these to my amp to hear what they are really capable of. Good bang for your buck.

kicker 6x8

I bought these speakers and installed them in a 94 ford probe. These are clear and handle the power from the deck well. These are 35 rms and the deck is 18 rms. They seem to handle sub response also. I’ll be using them for mid range and treble. They look cool to my son. Said he wants some.

I love these speakers, Ordered both sets from here, still waiting on one (Just Ordered Them). But I have one pair already, I have a older set of pioneer 6 3/4 that distort at 30 out of 34 on my HU, these can handle it all the way up to 34. If you're looking for a nice set of speakers, these are the pair for you. I love the yellow line on black, It's really fun to watch it when bass hits.

I have 2 pair of them in my zx3... i was using a alpine 250 4-ch they sounded great... if ur a low budget they are the best speakers 2 get

perfect sound clarity sound quality and performance. absolutely blew my mind how much better they sound than stock speakers. cheap great buy. would recommend them for sure.
