91 Harley Davidson replacement

Can't beat them for the price. Put them on a 1991 ultra glide. Sound is just right. Along with the four 6 1/2 marine speakers. Would buy again. Also perfect fit.

1 speaker defective

1 of the 2 speakers ordered had a bad solder job from the factory on the center cone. I just unmounted it from the kick panel and re soldered it . Sounds awesome now. Kicker has always gave me a quality product before ,hope it was just a 1 in a million chance I got this one.

6 1/2 inch speakers in Scion xB 2004

They sound way better than my factory speakersin my Scion xB. they hold more watts than stock and don't distort as much as factory ones . That said if you play it really load the bass distorts. Great speaker for the money. Way better than stock. They don't fit in the factory door location with out some work. I removed the factory speakers, they are riveted in so you have to drill them out and don't forget to get some new bolts . I broke out the magnet and used the old speaker as a mounting flange. Nothing a grinder and drill couldn't fix. In the rear the speakers were way smaller so some metal will need to be removed.if I had to do it over again I would but 8 inch in the back as there is a lot of room back there

i had several options before purchasing these , the choice was perfect . i had to cut holes for them to fit but overall they worked out great . I have recommend these same speakers to friends.

Amazing

Great little speakers.

These speakers are well made and put out great sound. I especially liked the fact that they came with mounting screws and the lead wires with the clips already in place, as well as the connecting ends insulation being pre cut. A nice touch.

Good Speakers

I was going through the process of replacing all my speakers in my car and i got these for the dash and all i can say is for as small and cheap as they are you really get your monies worth great speakers adds good quality sound!

Good speakers for the price

I purchased these for my Jeep TJ front speakers. They fit with no modification but I did add a foam baffle and ultimately ended up spraying the plastic speaker pod with Dynomat spray. I also replaced the sound bar speakers with the 6.5" matching Kickers. They could use an amp or an upgraded head unit, which is my next step, but not needed. Definitely an upgrade from stock!

Can take a pounding

I was worried about the RMS power handling of this speaker but it was all I could afford and I needed a 4". I am frankly amazed at the performance and have since gone 100% KICKER! 2 12" comp subs, 2 6X9's factory rear deck, these 2 4" in the factory door and two 5.25" the foot kick panels in a BMW 328is. The sound is unbelievable for the amount of money I spent. This little 4 is being driven at 2 ohms at around 75 watts rms. It throws the cone out like a woofer and handles it like a pro! I love Kicker they give so much product for the money!

Great speakers! They have a good bass response for just being a 4" speaker. They sound great. I have a bass blocker on these @300 hz and they sound great with the system!

These puppies are quit wonderful, they completed my system in my little sports car toyota... crystal like up close which is hard to accomplish.

Kicker 11DS40: Solid!

I was replacing the speakers in my wifes car which is a 94 corrolla. All 4 stock speakers needed to be replace. I bought some 6.5" Sony xplods from Best Buy for the rear. Put them in and they sounded OK. I couldn't find any speakers at a decent price for the front though. Shopped at local stores a settled on a pair of Renegade 4" speakers. They sucked. Period. Biggest problem was that they don't get loud. So looked online and found a great deal on Sonic Electronix for a pair of Kickers. The price was right and the shipping was free.

Long story short, they are FAR superior and they are loud - at least compared to the Renegade speakers. Definitely would recommend.

Great highs

These replaced the rear door speakers in my 4runner. They are only 4 inch speakers so obviously these aren't going to produce lows, but they add great mid and highs to jazz and classical tracks that allow backseat passengers to hear what they need to hear.

I am running these off of the head unit only, not amplified but I can't imagine wanting to go louder as I don't even go close to full volume on my head unit. I don't have any other 4 inch speakers to compare these to as I've only installed 6.5" speakers in other spots but they seem to be pretty good for the cost -- I would like to hear higher priced 4 inch speakers just to compare them too though, I'm not really sure how much better they'd sound?

This little speakers right here are LOUD. I thought they would be some alright speakers. F%*# no. They sound the same or louder than a pair of 6 1/2's. Great speakers.

i bought these speakers for my 86 camry and they sound great the mids and highs are crystal clear. bass isn't really more a soft thump but that is expected for such a small speaker. although the speaker does have alot of excursion i find that suprising but this is the first kicker speaker i have owned and it wont be the last.

great little speakers!!!

I was very surprised at the performance of these speakers. I'm not an audiophile by any means so my sound experience is very limited. I was looking for something to replace my terribly muffled (and weak) rear door speakers in my 2004 Subaru Impreza RS. I needed something decent, inexpensive, and that could be driven off the OE head unit without an amp. These fit the bill perfectly.

So far these speakers have been a huge improvement. The highs are way better and the mids are much clearer. They don't have much in the way of bass, but that's OK. It's about what you'd expect from a 4" speaker. Since they're rear door speakers their role is really filler and for that they do the job perfectly.

Overall I'm very pleased.

I bought these speakers to replace the speakers in the rear pillar of my 04 Silverado. They sound amazing compared to the factory installed ones. The sound is really clear, but they lack a lot of bass for being so small. I will be putting a sub in soon to bring up the low end.

I was surprised

A buddy of mine has 8 of these installed in his truck, 2 in each door and I was very surprised how loud they got. They definitely helped him increase his highs since he has 6 15" subs.

Great speakers for the money

Had these installed in a Toyota Previa above the fuse box, they added a nice fill to the other 4 speakers. They sounded so good, my friend wanted them to replace his kenwoods, so I gave them to him, fit great in his Mazda B2600i pickup, they sound great with his kenwood HU.

Great speaker

I love kicker brand. For a 4 inch speaker.it has a lot sound and it is very clear. I install 4 of 4inch speakers in my 84 chevy Silverado.

Good economical speakers

Mounted the speakers along with a new radion in my 1972 Ford pickup. I am hearing impaired, but I can still tell they are far better tone quality than my single factory speaker.
