So far so good

I havent had this amp long, but i have a cheap 15" subwoofer on it and it plays awesome. No heat so far and its the same size as the more powerful kicker amps so i can upgrade to a bigger amp and keep it in the same location. I am a fan of kicker amps and subs, but their speakers are annoying. I will review the kicker 3 way 6" x 9" next. Oh yeah, mine came with the bass knob.

Certified

Kicker amps are tested and certified to put out a certain amperage. You will receive a certification for the amp in each box. I have bought a couple of them and they each had a certification in each.

Very solid amp

My DX250.1 is powering my single 12inch alpine type r and it sounds awesome! The amp gives me more than enough power to make my sub hit hard! Also the amp is small so it's easy to fit it anywhere

Amazing!

This little amp is awesome! The actual rating is 278 rms at 2 ohms. I have it paired with a Hifonics hfx12d4 and they hit hard! no joke. The amp itself is small so you can mount it wherever you want. If you're on a budget this amp is the way to go. It doesn't really heat up unless you have it at full power for long periods of time like I sometimes do. Once again I recommend this amp to anyone, you wont regret buying it.

nice amp

A buddy of mine haz this hooked up to a Kicker comp 12. Its in a ported box & it pushes that sub just right. Not overbearing & does not drown out the highs. The settings are easy to use az well. Recommend for a nice beginners setup.

Very good amp

I bought this amp form a dealer and it is a great amp! I also bought a $35 1000 watt amp and the Kicker DX250.1 kicks harder than it. I would recommend this to anyone!
